Xbox One Console – Halo: The Master Chief Collection Bundle

Hello fellow Gamers .

This Review may be long but it has almost every thing that you should be knowing about Xbox One and don’t have to go anywhere else to search for help.

I am writing this review after using the Assassin’s Creed Xbox One without Kinect bundle(with free additional controller) for almost 5 months. I first time started it and set it up on 5th of august 2015. I am(was) hard core PC gamer and have also played on almost all type of consoles (not any Nintendo console).My Gamertag is SJR51GAMER add me and we’ll play together ,(If you know what a Gamertag is then add me,And if don’t then you will understand after buying Xbox one remember my Gamertag , Note it down somewhere and add me later on Xbox)
-You can ask me any questions on Xbox app ,You can get the app on windows ,android platform download Xbox One Smartglass app and you can ask me from there Via Messages,but before that I would recommend you to read this full review as you will get most of your answers.

MY EXPERIENCE

XBOX ONE has everything I need from a Console , Games at good Frame Rate and Resolution and Decent Graphics ,Few needed Apps, It can play any video or music disc (Not Disk),It can even play my old Sony Walkman too.The Usable space for 500GB edition is 380GB . I have played many games. Just love it . I love the old UI and the NXOE UI too(as Microsoft call the new UI as New Xbox One Experiences ).With this new Windows 10 Update Xbox One has become very fast in terms of quick activities like Friend,Party,Join A Friend in A Game or Party,Snap an App(if you don’t know about this then you’ll know about it after buying XB1),This is Great now with XB1,All the social things and games and apps,store are very fast now but you’ll not know it because you’ll not get the old OS,because You’ll get the NXOE of Windows 10 from the very start. With this new update now you can play selected Xbox 360 games on your New Xbox One, This is a massive new feature on Xbox One.Microsoft is also promising that they will keep on giving these type of new features as on demand by updates.

Yet I have faced a few issues in the past with old OS like Suddenly Game Crash without warning or even error , happened 3 times, that also happened in the new OS for 3 times also, And a few on Issues with EA access.This is my first Microsoft console, other then that I had PS 1,2,3 ,PSP and an Extreme PC.Friend has PS 4.

TIPS FROM MY EXPERIENCE

-Get all the free games because they wont be free for ever so go grab them while you can.You can just get them and download if you want and if you don’t want to download it now then it will be added on your cloud account with Microsoft. (Even a Free game is consider as buying so keep that in mind , only the Price changes to free, on Xbox Store)After you buy a game it will be sent to queue section to get downloaded and if you cancel the download then it will got to ready to install section on the Xbox One.From there you can download any of your games any time.(Which you don’t have on your Hard Disk)

-Buy rechargeable batteries, I bought Eveready Ultima Rechargeable 2100 Series , There is 2400 Series too in the market . Use them during the day and charge them in the night

-Make sure you have a minimum required internet speed of 4 MBPS or more ,meaning top download speed of 400-600 kbps and upload speed of 2 Mbps ,you get the idea right!!. I am using 2 MBPS down and 1 MBPS up speed works good , but if there are more online players with you in game and your internet speed is not steady or stable then you may encounter few trouble.Also with my internet speed I can download 900MB in 1 hour on the Xbox One.(informed you so that if you have question about how much time it will take to download)

– Also make sure your Internet is Strong/Stable , coz that will effect your online gaming. My Internet is Very Good and Strong/Stable, That’s why I don’t face any trouble with Multiplayer Even with this 2 MBPS Speed.

-And yes you can download games in the background also while your Xbox is off . your Xbox must be on instant on mode. when you want to turn off your Xbox just tap one time on Xbox logo on your Xbox one console or press and hold your controller’s Xbox logo button for a while and select console off .

-You can also Use an External Hard Disk to store Xbox One games, requirement is that it should be USB 3.0 and Capacity of more then 512 GB. and also it should be fully dedicated to Xbox One. Not already used hard disk .If you insert used EHD then it will ask your permission to clean it completely. You can use it as Default Storage too.

-Don’t buy physical game disc in India , you will have very good deals in xbox store like upto 50-70 % sale in deals with gold and spotlight.Do this only if you have unlimited data plan or huge data plan otherwise you’ll lose lots of money in the internet,if you don’t have enough data limit then buy physical disc.Since 5th August 2015 To January 10th 2016 I have used 1.3 TB Internet Data.

-Also Buying and Downloading games from store have advantage in switching the game ,I mean you don’t have that game disc so don’t have to put it in the console or switch that game disc with other one

-There are main two sales on Xbox Store that Changes every week on Monday or Tuesday 1st is Deals With Gold for the Xbox Live Gold Members and 2nd is Spotlight Sale. Now this is tricky , to know about which games are on Spotlight Sale you have to go to Xbox Website of USA.Just Google ,Xbox Spotlight Sale. In the these sales you will find small or big , new or old games on sale

-Now There are few Yearly huge Sales on Xbox Store, Till now i only know 2 sales of them, Which are Black Friday Sale And Countdown Sale. These two happens every year for a limited time like 7 days or 14 days. Black Friday Sales Comes in November Every year and Countdown Sale Comes 2-3 days Before Christmas in December Every Year. In these sale you’ll find almost all the big,new,Award Winning,old – all games on sale for upto 60% and Gold members will get 10% extra Discount then non-Gold Members

-Buy only one game at a time ,If you want the other one then wait for it’s price to drop or wait for it to come in Spotlight Sale or wait for it to come in Deals with Gold . Otherwise you will not be focused in 1 game and will not be able to play and enjoy it completely,I did that mistake.But if all the games you want are on sale then buy Them if you want.

-I don’t think sense in buying Kinect for hard core games ,It is useful only if every one in your family is ready to play games and also there is only two interesting game for Kinect which is Kinect Sports Rivals and Just Dance.

-I have the non-mate(glossy) console version, it attracts too much dust, well i can live with that but it gets a stretch too much easily , i can’t live with that.also the Design is so that if any thing small falls on your Xbox One it will directly fall in the console from the top grill, dust , snacks, tip of the pencil , etc.

-You can also Steam your Xbox One games to your Windows 10 pc, this will help you a lot if you are not able to play it on TV for long , now you can continue playing it on your Windows 10 pc.It played through an In Built App called Xbox App, Sign in there connect your xbox one to the same network as you are on your pc and then connet it via this app.

HOW I DECIDE WHICH CONSOLE TO BUY

If you are on low beget then you buy XBox One or PS 4 (compered beget for PC )(But still console prices are too high compere to US,UK,Canada).
If you don’t know which one you should buy then check the exclusive games list.For me I compered it with PS 4 exclusive list at that time i found uncharted series on the other hand XB 1 had Tomb Rider, and other then that most of them were Japanese games (which are mostly JRPG or some other topic of RPGs but still great to play). I was not interested in them so I got my Xbox One.
Difference between PS 4 and Xbox One is just in the Method of Using the Technology.And Both has the same Technology,same parts , just different Methods.But with this method difference , PS 4 is just a little more powerful.

But with Xbox One the plus point are it’s features as it all over entertainment box. you’ll get game steaming to windows 10 pc,Backward compatible game of Xbox 360, Features of based on Xbox one Community (fans) demand,and also a lots of great exclusives games.

XBOX GOLD MEMBERSHIP

The Xbox One handle all the games very well , no lag , basically no need to worry about anything. If you want to play a game online with others you must have to have Xbox Live Gold Membership. Don’t use your 15 days trial just buy 1 year membership. Because that trial wont give you full advantage (no free Games with Gold or weekly sale in Deals with Gold, it will only let you play multiplayer games).1 year members will get 2 games free every month and there is 80% chance that one of two title would be a AAA game.(AAA game are almost the highest standard game ,until the next level comes). so you would have 24 games in 1 year.If you do math 24 games with each costs 1000rs (which is rare) that is 24,000 Rs . But from November Update Xbox One Owners will be able to play Xbox 360 games on Xbox one .so every months 4 games will be able to download for free .(with 2 games from Xbox 360 collation )so now you get free games cost 48,000 Rs. Few time you will have offer for Gold Members where Full Game will be able to play for few weeks for Free.

There is one more membership which is from EA Games , It is called EA access , in that app you will have almost all EA titles for as long as you are their member(all the games which are in the EA access vault).(in my case i am having a problem that i am not able to download dragon age and Titanfall. For Dragon Age Inquisition I read that it will not be available in India because some Anti-Indian-Religion things so it will not be available in India. Haven’t got any News or Comment or Conformation on Titanfall.

-With it you also get 10% discount on everything related to EA, Like Games, season pass, DLCs, In game currency will have 10 % discount.

-EA add it’s new game in vault after it get 7-8 months age.so all the games it launches, hopefully will be available in the EA Vault after 7-8 Months of the release date.

ACCESSORIES

The controller is really nice ,They fit better in my hands compared to ps4’s controller,Which is a little bit small.They have put extra vibrations in the triggers, the bumpers are good but makes chip noise while tapping it. the chat head set is good but you can’t expect more from that. It can be used only for chat , not for game sound , for that you have to but two things 1st a head set 2nd is stereo head set adapter(this is for those who gets old controller,if you get matte console version(not glossy) then you’ll get new controller , it will have 3.5mm audio jack,with it you’ll not get the chat head set, don’t have much information about it).

MY GAMES AND THOUGHTS ON THEM

The games I have in my Xbox one are as following (this part of the review is a bit long )

-GTA 5 is Brilliant I don’t have to tell you anything about the game that how the game is.

-The Witcher 3 is my one of the favorite games.I will start with this,The Witcher 3 is strictly an adult game,do not play if you are under 18.Now about game.”THIS GAME IS BRILLIANT , EXTRA ORDINARY ,BEST RPG EVER”(I have played Fallout 4 on PC ,so I know that Fallout 4 is 2nd best and this one is THE BEST) . Great Visuals, You wan’t believe how great the Game Design ,Dialog ,The story, World map, Game world , Day-Night Cycle , Dynamic Weather ,Quests ,even Side – Quests have their own story,I can go on and on… Just buy this game ,alright just buy it , it has long 100 hours Gameplay ,It will more but not less.the additional paid DLCs also have their own new story ,plots ,new features ,other then that you’ll have around 16 free DLCs. This was my first Witcher game Turnout to be one of my favorite games.

– Assassin’s creed Unity it’s good game if you are into assassin’s creed games then you can play it or can skip it if you want (i played it and totally completed it (including all side activities collectibles, every thing else too) twice on PC and now on XB1 so i’m kind of board with it.
For new comers to the series or those who haven’t played all assassin’s games you’ll find this game very enjoyable , game world is beautiful from height ,story is nice. Story has links to assassin’s creed rough that one is also good game , it is very identical to assassin’s creed 4 BF.

-Assassin’s Creed 4 : Black Flag , This game is one of the best games , It has very very beautiful colorful World ,vast world map, so much things to do and explore , you can have your own pirate crew and army of pirate ships wondering on the sea map , story is one of the best stories,very enjoyable , you’ll remember the name for a long time if you play it.If you want to start playing assassin’s creed game and don’t have to or somehow couldn’t play earlier games then this is where you start from. A Must game Assassin’s game

-Assassin’s Creed Syndicate .It is Very good Come back from Assassin’s Creed games for the fans,with this game Ubisoft is Showing respect to it’s fans . This game is very enjoyable even for the fans who left the series because of the AC Unity, it has lot’s of side interesting activity not like unity but real side quests which has purpose, The Carriages, The Rope shooter the London City, Story is also very interesting this time. The AI is also very good this time with 10 difficulties,They can also climb to catch you like an assassin(few times i feal that every enemie is an assasin.LOL).The Level and Perks mechanism is also very impressive , you have your own gang to control London City .You also controls their Levels and gang buisenes.

you see Assassin’s Creed Games are known for it’s Gameplay,a Little Story, New innovative game features , and Take the Next Game to next Level , that’s what it’s known for . But Unity was not what the fans expected to be the next Level.That’s why it has been effected the series in negative ways. But if you skip Unity and play Syndicate you’ll find that this is what unity should have be like.

-Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline , BF3 ,BF 4 and BFH all of them have almost same graphics and in every aspects just the story is different, I think they used the same engine too,lets start with BF 4 , it is the most enjoyable BF game yet ,yes better then BFH. Online Maps are also good , sound and voice is very good, but graphics are good but resolution on Xbox One for these BF 4 and BFH is very very bad you can see the pixel boxes on the screen it is that bad. totally not recommending to play this , dont play this game on X1 don’t know about PS 4 but i’m guessing it will be same.Now BFH is i think a spin-off coz BF games are for military FPS action game, BFH is like you are a cop and you arrest bad guys who framed you for something bad who are also trying to make their own privet police department who will work for money.This one is a let down to BF series , but first timers will not be disappointed, but don’t try it on Xbox one or PS4

-Star Wars Battlefront-this is a good first person /third person shooter game.It has some of the best graphics and visual, sound and audio effect,gameplay is very easy and smooth ,it has around 22 modes including online offline with bots, it does not have campaign mode, the game has 22 modes but only around 4 map.but they are selling season which will include 5 expention but non of them is confirmed yet.This games is good but you’ll get board after like 5-7 hours coz ther is not much to do.(if you buy it then Heros vs villains is the best mode to rank up fast and very fun too)

-Call Of Duty Black Ops 3. This is the best COD game yet, good graphics , great controls ,good campaign and long , lots of other modes,zombie mode ,and the multiplayer is excellent.this game is so much full of contains that not many games are . this one will last for a very long time for sure.I can’t event find any wrongs in this game.This is probably the overall best FPS game yet.buy it just buy it and play it.you’ll enjoy it.The game will have around 4 big expantion , so i would suggest you to buy the season pass too or buy the deluxe edition.

– FIFA Games,from FIFA 12,13,14,15,16 every time my every Friend asks me how is it and what is new , and every time my answer is same like best next gen. football game and it has nothing new only few improvements, EVERY TIME.every new FIFA is a better FIFA yes it has improve in graphics ,player controller and few women team and one mode in FIFA Ultimate Team it is Draft. yes that’s it.

-Forza Horizan 2 ,FH 2 is very good in open world , Very impressive graphics , No Major story, Everything is great but controls are very bad ,really bad for me , I played the Need For Speed 2015 and it’s controls are better then FH 2, and people are blaming on NFS 2015 for bad Controls , Yes if you practice for around 3-5 hours you’ll get used to it but initially you’ll hate the controls. otherwise great game.

-The Crew , The Crew was not so good at the launch time but after it’s latest update it’s now the game it should have been at the time of launch. now The Crew is really nice. IT has really really big open world map as it is an MMO-RPG Openworld racing game(i think i), you can ride across the whole USA in your car that is a brilliant idea of a game.now the game is very good in graphics ,dynamic weather ,day-night cycle, new cars (now it has enough cars) , i think these things are enough to buy this game, it has very good controlling over car. when you bump into any thing then you can just slip through the side of that thing and can still be going on your was, at first i thought this is very unrealistic but after playing other open world racing games like FH 2 NFS 2015 now i think The crew is more enjoyable , cause in those games when you are at high speed and touch anything you just crash no questions asked just crash no but no cut and wait for the loading for your ride, and in the crew if you slightly bump in any thing you just slip through it from the side that’s better , no loading meaning more enjoying ride.Must buy racing game but it’s all time online to access to all features type of game like NFS 2015.

-this is what i wanted to tell you about these two open world racing games FH2 and The Crew. These two games reminds me of the Test Drive Unlimited Series. The Crew before the update remind me of Test Drive Unlimited 1 , but with Better graphics and stuff(you can say a better version of TDU 1 which came in 2006)and the FH2 remind me of TDU 2,also only with a little better graphics,but FH2 was was not as much fun as TDU 2(TDU 2 came in 2011), TDU 2 had so many social activites that you can do,so many really nice places t explore,you can buy houses,furniture and yacht,play poker,pass driving test for total 21 different licences for different classes of cars,you can even have plasic surgery for your avatar!!! so yeah i think TDU 2 was better then FH 2

-Madden 15,NBA live 15 ,NFL 15.madden and NFL games are not for Indians , they are really not enjoying for Indian.just like Cricket is not liked by Canadians. but NBA wow it is very enjoyable game with friends like FIFA .NBA is a Basketball game other then that it has everything identical to FIFA

-Killer Instinct .it is freebut you will have only 1 character you may have more with new seasons as it is a season based game,it’s fighting game , good but Mortal Kombate X is way way way better then this and both games has same price for the biggest edition which includes everything

-Need For Speed Rivals- and Need For Speed Reboot 2015 ,NFS R is very good all aspects but not in story,story is bad ,you have great huge world map , good graphics , beautiful visuals, great controls and all but you can’t pause the even in the NFS 2015 you can’t pause the game,the New NFS 2015 is way better ,but is doesn’t have day-night cycle so it’s always night.other then that graphics are awesome ,controls are a little difficult but you’ll get used to it after 10 mins ,better story then NFS R ,but nothing compare to NFS Most wanted or Carbon , it’s just like you meet a guy he likes your driving so much that he and even his friend arrange races for you ,yeah that’s it.worst thing is on higher lvl when you have fast and expansive cars and you go on high speed no matter how light you tough the rides of highway you are done man you just crash immediately. other then that good game , if every one buy a game this year just based on graphics and sound and voice EA Games Would be Rocking for you , you’ll be all out buying all the recent New EA games each one of them are great in graphics.

-Plants Vs zombies garden warfare . it’s a shooting game between plants and zombies where plants have to save plants and zombies trying to destroy them, it has no story ,it has a few maps on which you can play split screen or online.that’s it.

-Tomb rider definitive edition, Just wow ,how much this game series has evolved , this game is the reboot of the series and you are playing as young lara croft, this game is about how she became strong and fearless that we saw her in the past games.This game is Beautiful it is an open world linear story line adventure action game and very enjoyable game, world look very very beautiful, some time you will say wow on seeing breathtaking views,combat and weapons are good and can control very easily.jump in to the tomb rider game and start with this one although every upcoming sequels will not be connected in mission story but just to play this game.the new Rise of The Tomb Rider is even better then this this series has made the biggest come back from looser to the top

-project spark this game is free from Microsoft , you have few story you can complete them or create your own story and world and map and quest and play it and share to the other gamers ,or you can play a game some one else made , really good for local multi-players, this is one of those games that never grows old.

-There is a few games from telltale games comany , their games are very good , they are story telling games , so if you like stories or like to read book then playing their games are best way to read(LOL!).no it’s not like you read ,you have choises to make that will make different story end, it’s like you are watching a movie and some time you think “if he/she had not done/done then it would be better” well then in this game you can make your own choises.

-Powerstar golf . this is not fully free game .you’ll have trial type of game .you will have to buy 1 course for 416rs .but there two pack called full game in store which gives you all course for 416rs or 976rs. i bought 416 and every thing is unlocked so go for that one. this a good game ,you can play it as local multiplayer.

other then these i have small games like pinball(really bad but its free),
so many me (good game i got it for free, very enjoyable and colorful , adventure strategy game ), the deer god(average game but got it for free),magic dual(average game but got it for free), happy wars(average game but got it for free),airmech arena(average game but got it for free)

-Looking at the pace of improvement in the games and game engine , i think all the big upcoming titales will have great graphics and visual. EA games and Ubisoft will be among the first to do so. Ubisoft’s upcoming games like The Division,Ghost Recon wildland ,For Honer and reinbow six seige, and for Ea all the new titals are already have great Graphics and visuals.

-Also now days gaming industry is also supporting consoles better then PC , so now console is the focus for the companies and developers. There are few reasons for that. 1.all the consoles have the same hardware so that makes a really easy task to optimize a game for consoles but it is very complex to optimize a game on PC as there are lots of variant in hardware .without optimization game will be more buggy ,leggy ,graphics drops . recent example is batman arkham knight ,it is very buggy ,slow , and have lots of graphics drops even on the most power PC. 2. piracy . There is a very high risk that a game will get pirated on PC but on Next gen Console it’s not possible.And by the game get pirated the developer will not get money to make another game. also high risk of getting bankrupt , a lot of huge game companies got bankrupt because of this.

GRAPHICS AND BEGET

If I have to compare graphics , it is disappointing that the next gen. of console doesn’t even come close to pc graphics,as now the 4k has come for pc,The next gen. console can’t even play 4k movie.Even if it will in future then still it has HDMI 1.3 OR 1.4 SUPPORT ONLY(so no way it will be able to play 4k ).But the graphics of the games on the console has already started to get improved and in future starting from 2016 we may see great game graphics and visuals on the consoles.

Playing a game on PC with very high or extreme graphics level you have to buy a desktop worth nearly 1,50,000 India Rs.(which will be almost the cheapest one) . This is where comes the next gen console with low price and high performance.As an Indian I know that parents won’t let their children to buy a 150k rs. pc + have to spend money on games separately, this is where next gen. consoles comes for help if you put that confi. in pc the game will start barely (hardly) . But the game itself is optimized for console so that it can be played on console..I first said that I am a pc gamer that’s why i felt these difference.

SO NOW I WOULD SAY don’t spend money on pc go for console .I would say Xbox One because soon mouse and keyboard will be supported too.

I am giving only an honest review on XBOX One.
I am terribly disappointed that we need to download 62.4gb and not install on behalf of disk given earlier in xbox 360.
Xbox one has ms edge based on windows 10 which i don’t think it can be used freqeuntly. It texts are not clear to read from far distance.
Controller design has been good. XBOX UI IS fast and easy to handle.

I Haven’t tested games as i don’t have good internet connection but will edit it after trying a few games out.
I would have given five stars for giving dv instead of downloading.
