I bought this thing over a year ago, and I use my Xbox controller on PC. This adapter made it quite easy for me to use it wirelessly. Now, about the connection, it connects the controller properly – but the controller sort of has to be in a visible range. I use my PC in the living room as well as the bedroom, where the controller flawlessly works and maintains a stable connection with the controller. If anyone is standing between the adapter and controller, it still works the same.
Although, if there is a metallic object between them, it stops working. Even if the controller is right next to that metallic object. For example, connecting it to the back of the PC. If I connect it on the back, it just refuses to connect.
Regardless, if you know its quirks and workarounds, you’ll be able to use it pretty comfortably. And, my advice is Xbox controller is a very good controller for playing games on PC.

There is no connection drops and coverage is too long since it uses WiFi by using MT76 chipset. There was no latency issues and felt just like I was using my Xbox Wireless Headset with USB. Even acts as USB device in Xbox Accessories app and Firmware for headset can be upgraded. I had issue with BT audio from mic switching to handsfree since the headset was running out of bandwidth with Audio streaming from Music App + Mic usage for recording and often connection drops and audio quality suffered greatly. If you want better audio quality and ability to connect xbox gamepads + headset this is the way to go. Though it does heat up after heavy usage, so don’t the adapter to the back of the exhaust of PC.

Si no quieres tener un cable conectado todo el tiempo, ya la vez no quieres lidiar con la alta latencia de las conexiones bluetooth, este adaptador está totalmente recomendado. En Windows funciona tan solo con conectarlo y emparejarlo con el control tal y como lo harías con una consola. Y para mi sorpresa funciona también perfectamente en Linux instalando el driver correcto.

The product is good works as expected, initially while setup in windows 11, the device wasn’t recognised even the light didn’t work , you need to install drivers separately and restart for it to work as intended, just i was about hit return and installing drivers didn’t work (you need to restart- this wont popup) and works like charm, no setup second time onwards.

Tinha um controle do Xbox One e estava usando com fio no PC, e o fio já estava bastante desgastado, dando um pouco de mal contato e etc. Com o adaptador, acabaram os problemas: conexão super estável (testei no máximo que dava aqui em casa, uns 4m de distância e o adaptador na porta de trás do PC) e instalação tranquila também.
A caixa chegou meio amassada, mas nada demais não. Não testei se funciona com mais de 1 controle, mas na teoria é pra funcionar sim.

Great product, easy to use. Bluetooth for controllers can be very iffy sometimes, this was simple. Plug it in, sync it and you’re done. Maybe more expensive than other options but putting Microsoft software with Windows systems made it very streamlined.

1. Connects both xbox series and xbox one controllers 2. Pairing with multiple controllers easily. 3. It helps show correct battery percentage on the xbox game bar, if you connect your controller over bluetooth, the gamebar shows wrong percentage.
It heats up little, but i guess there’s nothing to be worried.
