I am very surprised by the quality of this headset. I understand it’s part of the AmazonBasic line, but there’s basic, and then there’s BASIC. This falls into the later category.
Issue 1. This headset is not adjustable.. The band that extends from the ear piece, over the head, is fixed. It is not adjustable at all. I could not find a way for it to sit comfortably on my head without it feeling like it was constantly falling off or pulling out of place.
Issue 2. The Foam On The Ear Cuff … These are ON THE EAR style. The ear piece sits on your ear, not over or around it. And the foam on the ear piece is cheap and it slides around. Given that the over the head band isn’t adjustable, having a slippery foam on the ear piece means the headset never feels comfortable and is always in danger of sliding off during use.
Given the two issues listed above, I would caution against getting these … or at least plan to return them if the fixed headset isn’t comfortable (which is a roll of the dice, since it’s not adjustable).
The sounds was only passable, but deserves two stars for the price.

I bought this due to pandemic where I need to start working from home. I have to be on the phone with client all day. After a few months of using it, I can finally write a review about this product. Let’s start with the PRO. The mic is clear, I can hear the client clearly. It’s light weight. Move on to CON. Echo is a big issue. You have to set the volume to really LOW in order to avoid the mic picking up the sound from the headset. The soundproof is poorly done. If an headset that would easily trigger echo, it’s basically useless… In conclusion, cheap price doesn’t give you good quality, don’t waste your money just like me.

I purchased 2 of this since they were on a lightning deal and I thought that they wouldn’t last, boy was I wrong.. I have a 9 year old and a 5 year old, they have to share a PlayStation and of course they fight over the controller.. 5 year old is kinda rough and pulls the controller and headset from the brother, this headset is still going strong without issues… Volume and mute work great… Must say that is not loud, does not provide any boost to audio nor does it cancel noise, it’s a simple headset. On the ear what you have is the sponge material just like walkmans from the old days, same as on the microphone… If you are on a budget, this is for you… Well done Amazon.

The unit took a good beating and lasted several months before it failed at a stress point on the connector (where they normally do).
