Players can compete in local wireless matches or online over a broadband Internet connection.
The game supports both SpotPass and StreetPass features.
Players can show their own style by customizing their vehicles with accessories that give them a competitive advantage. For instance, giant tires help a kart drive off-road, while smaller tires work best on city courses.
People can choose to race as one of their favorite Mushroom Kingdom characters or even as their Mii character.
The Mario Kart franchise continues to evolve. New kart abilities add to the wild fun that the games are known for. On big jumps, a kart deploys a wing to let it glide over a track shortcut. When under water, a propeller pops out to help the kart cruise across the sea floor.

Es la versión World para Malasia, pero no me molesta de hecho me encanta,Para todos aquellos que quieren comprar primeras ediciones de juegos de Nintendo 3Ds lamento decirles que en Amazon ya no hay, ya no se venden, están 100% descontinuadas , así que cualquier juego de 3DS que compren en Amazon sera World Edition, excepto algunas excepciones en juegos que vendieron muy poco como Michael Jackson the experience, para aquellos que se preguntan que diferencia hay entre un primera edición y una World Edition, solo es el círculo, y que algunos no traen manual de la primera edición, eso es todo no hay más diferencia de hay en fuera son exactamente iguales, de hecho las World Edition serán bastante caras dentro unos 2 años cuando se acabe el stock de juegos de 3ds en Amazon, y la única opción será comprarlos en ebay a precios ridículos
