I bought this cable for approx. 450 , and it was worth every penny , cable quality is awesome . This Cable is very thick in comaparison to other Vga cable . I used it on my old samsung monitor , vga socket was corrosed on the monitor and i am connected to same slot for more than 1.5 years but still the pins for cable isnt corrosed a bit . so its 10/10 from my side. Now it is available even cheaper .

If you are wondering that “should i spend some extra money on this VGA cable than the regular cheap VGA cable ” then definetely go for it . I would divide it between pros and cons :-
pros )-
1) Wire Quality is fabulous
2) Wire is very thick . It will definitely last longer
3) The connector is Gold Plated which is very good.
4) The screw has good quality knob to tighten or loosen the plug
5) The wire is capable of carrying the supported resolution details by the monitor ( this is not possible in many cheap
VGA monitor )
6) The video quality is very good . I have connected it to my LG FullHD IPS monitor and i would say it is very good .
cons )
1) Packaging was very basic .

Very helpful to connect older monitors to modern laptops using a type c adapter. However there have been multiple instances of the picture being pixelated on boot up but is generally resolved on reconnection.
6FT is long and the cable is thick so no worries about fraying but will recommend using for under table desktops or longer tables as it takes up quite a bit of space when coiled up.

If you are having trouble to get proper signal through VGA connector of your monitorthen either you have poor connector or poor quality cable. This cable is very tick with high quality wires inside and good quality insulation outside. The connectors are gold plated. So go for it if you are facing connectivity issues. Otherwise your monitor provided cable is good enough for this purpose. The price of this cable is high and in the age of hdmi how many people would like to to invest on VGA unless they have an old monitor or an old CPU or wants to attach more than 1 monitor with a cpu. I am using this to connect a 26 inch old LCD TV with CPU but the TV stopped working after few months and the cable has no more use.

I’ve a old generation Monitor with cheap VGA Cable , therefore the picture output was very poor…
But
After using the the Amazon Basic VGA cable I feel the difference, Now the picture output is far more better than ageo …
Though In my Zebronics Monitor I’ve a Horizontal White Line issue, but get good picture output..
Don’t think much just go for it…

My brand new Dell Professional monitor shows not much clarity of text with this cable at FHD resolution. It was purchased for this sepcific purpose. White text on Dark background has faulty transfers. Dark on Bright seems okay. The cord keeps coming off laptop as there is no screwing option, and too much thick cord (difficult to bend) has other negatives of [1] routing around desk [2] end plugs are not that sturdy (they say gold plated, but looks coppery) as those tend to loose shine soon after using few times.
Did not test with professional test equipment.. the seller shows no such credentials as well.. only talks of quality, Pathetic for price paid.

I had a number of old VGA cables that were rather stiff and somehow the old ones didn’t connect the monitor to the laptop. So I purchased the Amazon Basic VGA cable and WOW. It is well built, sturdy, and the connectors are very secure. Attached the cable to the monitor and to an adaptor for the USB-C adaptor.
The picture quality on the monitor is excellent, no lines with this solid connection. Everything is working as it should. I’d buy this again but doubt it when it comes time to buy a new monitor with HDMI. HA!

MUY BUENA RESPUESTA en alta frecuencia en test de 1080p con TestChart HiRes (mira de prueba) de barras HF verticales IIIIIIIIIIIIIII de 1pixel de ancho on + 1 pixel off
poca atenuación de las altas frecuencias (Display nítido incluso en cambios rápidos de la señal)
Poca Crosstalk (Diafonía) entre canales R-G-B (poco “whitening” en edges de barras rojo-verde)
Generalmente se requiere de un cable más grueso para obtener una imágen tan nítida
Background:
En los cables para transmisión analógica pero especialmente en analógica+ transmisión “unbalanced”/NO Diferencial -como en video analogico VGA en HD- se requieren cables de muy buena calidad con apantallamientos excelentes y con una atenuación por la “capacitancia” de los cables baja y con cables coaxiales independientes para cada componente de color (tri-coaxial) para evitar “crosstalk” entre canales.
Este cable Implementa correctamenta las líneas digitales de ID/ DDC (Display Data Channel) por lo que el monitor puede indicarle correctamente a la tarjeta gráfica las resolucione sus parámetros soportados.
Muy pocos cables son siquiera aceptables y este cable de AMAZON (Basics) aprueba con nota, de los poquísimos que se venden hoy que realmente sirve para algo.
Conclusión: AMAZONBASICS para cables siempre que estén disponibles
La pena que Amazon (Basics) parece No producir cables cortos (< 1m) de video analógico VGA …
Muy necesarios para uso en adaptadores/conversores de normas de video, etc
@AMAZON: Por favor, necesitamos también cables cortos de video VGA. En señal analógica es fundamental emplear el cable más corto posible

If you want to get a good vga cable then you need to pay more but this cable it is the best within budget I bought this because I could not trust the other small brands so I went for Amazon basics packaging was basic but it’s better than other brands I can give you 1080p signal quality the previous cable I had was the cheap 100 rs cable it was a nightmare because the screen flickered like crazy so pay extra get a better product and it’s pretty long and sturdy and durable so go for it blindly
