Not sure why the colour is so dark, it’s not blue. Or it is a very dark blue? To me, it’s black. No issue with cartridge, it’s working well with the pen.

I cannot find the model number or name of my Sheaffer fountain pen, so I hope the photographs might help. I wasn’t sure what I needed for this pen, but the “euro fit” was it exactly. (Pen was purchased in the US.) I bought blue and black. Currently have the blue cartridge in.
