I bought this thermal printer for shipping my products out for my small business and I’m very happy with it! Heres why:
1. Amazing price;
When I purchased it was listed at $139.99 and I got a $30 off coupon bring my total down to $110.09 with tax included! I think thats the cheapest i’ve seen a thermal printer like this!
2. Bang for your buck;
Now it probably doesn’t work like a rollo, though I’ve never had one to compare to.. this works amazinggggg. 10/10. I believe this is just an issue with some but mine was an unlucky one and my printer does print out the labels the TINEST bit faded but personally I don’t mind its nothing too serious unless this is a major issue to you, just be aware its a 50/50 chance of you getting one like this or not. Thats my only “issue” with this printer if that’s even an issue. Everything else works perfect and fast. No issues and easy to install. It works with any labels, any sizes. Its perfect if your looking to step up your small business a bit and become a little more professional.
3. Easy to install:
Before you do anything you have to download the software to be able to connect your laptop to your thermal printer. Not gonna lie i was quite confused when I first got my printer. I decided when I ordered it to download the software before it got here because if you have a newer MacBook you’ll need to download it via their website not through the cd. After that you just connect everything up and it’ll work!
Overall im so glad i spent the money on this. This was one of the best investments in my business so far! The reviewers are what drew me to purchase this. They made it sound amazing and IT IS! Usually you get bad feelings about stuff like this but I couldn’t pass up the chance. Ive been using it for almost a month now and I made sure to wait before just leaving an off the bat review. With all that being said I hope this helped you decide whether this works for you or not! If you have any questions you can ask me ! (Ig:Editingby47)
Update: Over a year later and still works amazing!!!! Shipped over 500+ orders with it!

I still have yet to print shipping labels without exporting to another device to crop, send back to my computer and then print so it fits the 4”x6” label format without having most of the image cropped off one side or the image shrunken to just occupy about 1/3 of my label. Mac OS drivers installed, convoluted Java installation instructions and tinkering with the Terminal window aren’t the basic “plug & play”installations a setup like this should be a breeze through.
The unit is fast, compact, and otherwise seems to work as intended, but the manufacturer really should get this firmware streamlined like modern day software. Even their YouTube tutorials are vague, with illegible text instructions; their main instructional method is simply pointing at things.

I bought it seeing it’s affordable price but the experience using this thermal printer is really good. It works good. I highly recommend it to every business and individual who is looking for thermal printer for their work.

Looked at this printer as it came-up on Amazon as a #1 product. Did a quick scan of the specs, saw mostly 5-star reviews, so I ordered it. Was surprised when it arrived to see that it was USB-only with no support for Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity. NOTE: neither the SP410 or the SP420 support wireless technologies. Not a showstopper, but given the claim of Apple Mac support, the USB Type-A cable is a non-starter. You will need a legacy USB hub, a Type-C replacement cable or an adapter that supports the legacy Type-A connector.
I recommend Syntech USB C to USB A adapter, but others are available of course: https://www.amazon.com/Syntech-Adapter-Thunderbolt-Compatible-MacBook/dp/B07CVX3516/
Most of the product pictures do not show the back of the printer. The 360-view on the product page does, but shows a solid back cover. I thought this actually pulled-out from the printer and created a label tray, or that roll-style labels loaded directly into the printer itself (like the model SP420). Neither are accurate. Labels load from the rear through a feed slot (please update your 360-view!) One of the videos actually does show this, but not anywhere else – would recommend a product photo showing the back of the printer be added as well.
Once it was installed, it worked fairly well. The Apple drivers could use some updating as I tested printing the same labels from both Windows & Apple Mac systems, and the Mac consistently ran over onto a second label and needed to be resized to print properly. Once set, however, the printer hums along and prints quickly. I would like to see a little bit darker printing, but admit this could be the result of the labels we are using.
Amazon is recommending bundles with this printer, but none of them include a label stand/holder. Do yourself a favor and order one, it makes the overall setup and operation much cleaner. Alternatively, you can order the SP420 which DOES hold the label roll internally, but as of this writing, that model has a lower product rating and is more expensive.

I love this gadget. I sell a few things on the auction site and so have to print mailing labels about 5 times a week on average. Not a lot but enough to make it tedious. For years I would print the labels on standard 8.5 x 11″ paper with my laser printer, cut out the 4×6″ label and tape it to the package with clear packing tape, making sure not to cover the bar code. Kind of a pain. So when I saw this on sale for about $100 I tried it. The printer is really compact–I have it on a bookshelf near my desk. I have a FedEx account so I could order a big roll of 4×6 thermal labels for free! I also bought an AOBIO Label Holder ($15). The label holder and roll of labels take up more space than the printer! If you buy fan-fold labels (some are included with the printer) you can just lay them on the surface behind the printer.
Printing is fast and virtually free. There is no ink or toner and I’m not wasting full sheets of paper. The printer spits out the label instantly. Just tear it off, remove the backing paper and slap it on your box or package. Easy peasy.
My sole complaint is the lack of instructions so it took a few tries to figure out how to print from the USPS or Ebay sites but once that was figured out, this is a great little convenience.
I don’t know how well this would work or how long it would last under heavier usage. I’ve been using it maybe 5 times a week for about 4 months now.

I just got 1 shipping label instead of 10, did not get a USB to type-c connector for Mac inside the box. The print quality is okay, but not too good. No image can be printed, only text. You can’t print on a normal paper. Only thermal paper sticker labels can be used to print with this.
