Mu old chair’s gaslift was destroyed due to repeated hammer forces (installed wrongly and had to re-addemble, hence got damaged in the process.)
After a year it got obliterated making the chair extremely unstable.
That’s why I had to buy this new lift.
It’s working now, but I could observe from day 1 that it isn’t as smooth as the old one (when new). It sags down a bit when sitting, so not a stiff one. With time it will sag down completely, but I am not worried since my table is at the right height and I can use my chair even at the lowest setting.
But atleast the chair is stable now

It works but isn’t 100% sturdy, it sinks a few centimeters whenever I sit on it. Now mind you this isn’t a person’s weight issue. i.e it doesn’t matter if you’re heavy or light it’s gonna sink a few centimeters. Others seem to be facing the same problem. But thdn again it’s not a big deal. It’s manageable. Go for it if you get it under 500.
Office Chair Hydraulic Part –
When my chair was not moving up and down, I thought of replacing it. In general, if you go to any shop, you will get it at a higher rate and along with that, you will also have to pay more charges to replace it.
But after ordering this product from Amazon, I replaced it myself. I just needed a hammer to replace it.
It is an easy task to remove it with the help of a hammer and then place it comfortably and press the upper part of the chair on it.
According to the price, this product is amazing.
I really liked this product and it has been almost 3 months since I used this product and there has been no problem till now.
