The router for my internet connection was changed about two weeks ago by the ISP and the wi fi range has been very, very annoying. Though people in my home were advising me to call the ISP, I refused to do so since they take their own sweet time and of course, last thing I needed was an expensive solution. So before calling them, I was searching the internet for various solutions (buying a new router and using it as a repeater, etc.). But the most basic and easiest solution: just get a long cable (fiber patch cord). So, I double checked the cable and ordered this. Comes with two five meter cables. Checked it out, works fine. I wanted to relocate the Fiber optic WiFi modem to have better coverage but the cable supplied was short. Hence purchased this cable. It is working fine and the data throughput is same as the cable supplied by ISP.

I bought two of these. Connected them using an adapter, they’re cheap. And wallah!! I relocated my wifi router to 15 ft away from where it was before. Got this cable running under the carpet and behind the furniture from the controller on wall to my router. That’s it. Now my whole house recieved fabtastic Wifi signal. No need for repeaters or range extenders. They’re very costlier options for much compromised speed and bandwidth. With this cable you can simply relocate the router and enjoy full bandwidth with no compromise in speed. I am still hitting the max speed all over the house with the strategic placement of my router. This was one of my smartest and safest decisions taken. Just go for it if your requirement is also same as mine.
