Needed to connect my 2K monitor to my Mac Air, which has only two USB-C ports. I looked for a few options and came across this one. The price is definitely on the higher side, but I went for it anyway after going through reviews and pictures others posted.
Yes, it is as good as it looks in the pictures. Solid build quality; it feels very premium. It works well with my Mac. I am getting 144 Hz at native 2K resolution, which means it is definitely 18 Gbps (HDMI 2.0).
Cheaper alternatives are available, but there might be issues with compatibility, resolution, or refresh rate. So, if you can spend a little extra, just go for it. Buying a good-quality product never hurts.

I have an RTX 4090 and Samsung S90D OLED and wanted to experience 4K@120Hz with HDR, but my PC is about 15 meters from the TV. I tried three other cables, but they either showed a ‘No Signal’ issue or the PC would get stuck in the handshake process.
