I have a portable monitor that has HDMI input through USB-C style port. It came with a cable but it is extremely short so I needed either an extension for HDMI or a coupler to turn one of several spare HDMI cables into an extension. This coupler did the job. It worked with YouTube on a PS4, so I think that means it works with HDCP, but I could be wrong.
The value for a one pack is obviously not as good as the 2 pack, but I really only need one right now.

I ordered this female-to-female HDMI adapter to connect my Firestick to the male HDMI cable that is attached to the back of my flat screen TV that is above our fireplace. The standard HDMI cable (male to male) runs down the back of our TV, going through the drywall, and comes out the bottom of the wall so that the TV and accessory wires are not showing, and fully hidden behind the wall until they come out the bottom of the wall near the floor. Hence, the application for this adapter. My TV is a top of the line LG OLED flatscreen model and this adapter does not degrade the TV’s magnificent picture quality in the slightest when using our Amazon Firestick. Also, it was/is a bonus that it is an 8K design, allowing for future-proofing which is always a welcome thing. Highly recommend.

Had an old fire box that I needed to get replace with newer and faster Fire stick, but did not want to pull the darn 65 inch wall mounted tv since the connections are in the middle of the back panel. And a course the connection from the old fire box was male and the new connect for the fire stick is male so I needed the little gem to do the mircle work and not have me unmount the freaking tv!
