This cable was bought to replace one that I accidentally ruined when I tripped over it, bending one cable end too far. It, too, was a 25′ cable which I use to connect laptops to the television on the other side of the room. In its shortened life it had performed flawlessly, with not a hint of the signal dropping over the longer cable run.
I particularly like the nylon braided outer casing of this model, when you have the cable stretched across the floor an extra bit of protection is welcomed!

As soon as I plugged it in properly, I was getting signal loss resulting in moments of snow, black screen, image with no sound.
Mostly it was frequent fraction of a second of snow and sound loss.
Based on the great reviews here and on tech sites, I must have received a lemon.
I’m returning it and getting another brand which says it’s certified… we’ll see.
