I ordered a Soundcore 1 but due to a Hub locker bungle I never received it. The Tribit was nearly the same price so I thought why not. I feel like I dodged a bullet as this is a higher watt speaker that probably sounds nicer and looks better.
Sometimes I feel more comfortable using a cheap item as I just use it without worrying about damage. After finding out the upgraded Xsound Go has TWS I couldn’t resist getting a second one. The TWS is not great as the range is only 2-3 feet and randomly loses the pairing every several uses. But I leave these in my car (now that summer’s waned) as they don’t look like expensive speakers. And as they are already in my car I tend to take one in my backpack when needed.

Every speaker has conditions under which it works best. The JBL Flips sound better on the table. This baby on the other hand sounds amazing on the floor. Just place it on the floor you will think it’s a much larger speaker, sounds incredible. Great bass, dynamic mids and beautiful highs.

Just buy it.

I think it’s over-hyped.
The sound quality is good. But you won’t get any exotic quality as youtubers explain. It’s good for watching movies. You do get the vibrating bass in action scenes.
Connectivity is good. Range is good.
Battery undoubtedly lasts long.
Loudness: if your room is 10*12 feet, it’s great. Other than that you will feel the volume lacking if you like loud music. (For me it’s great as I listen in low volume only).
And hence, you can’t take it outdoor. No use if not a tranquil place.
There is app support. That’s good.
The main thing: music:
It’s good. But don’t expect anything like JBL or Bose

All in all a very good product. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending.
Great sound. Clear, no distortion (I don’t listen at high volumes). Small size. Light weight. Great build/finish. Good price.

Sound Clarity: I bought it based on the reviews about sound clarity. My listening is very middle of the road. I am very happy with the sound clarity.

Size: I was after a small sized unit. This is perfect in terms of size and weight (under 400 gms) for my needs.

Features/ Spec-s: I received a unit of higher specs than what was stated on Amazon AU. Bluetooth 5.0 (and not 4.2), Output 2x 8W (and not 2x 6W), Charging USB-C (and not micro USB),

Dont like:
(1) The top controls/buttons are extremely difficult to see even in good light.
Either the buttons should be lit from underneath/inside.
Or be coloured bright / fluorescent (with the brand colour of orange?)
I have already given feedback to support@tribitaudio.com on these.
(2) Having to unpair and re-pair across multiple devices (laptop, tablet, phone).
I knew this before buying the product.
(3) The volume control on my laptop seems disengaged, once Tribit is connected.

Would be better: Switch between multiple devices from the speaker unit itself..(2) Include the AUX cable.

Packaging: Inner packaging has to be pulled out to get the cable and the manual.
This is unnecessary. Just redesign the inner packaging.

Only got it a few days ago. So cant comment on battery life.

I was skeptical while buying the speaker even after reading so many positive reviews. I understood why people loved this speaker so much. I wanted to buy XSound Plus 2 30W but refrained after reading about issues with connection with laptops. But this 16W speaker impressed me alot.

⭕ First thing which I noticed is how small the speaker is. It can fit in your pocket and it almost disappears if you put it in some corner. So Portability wise a big thumbs up. Built quality of the speaker is excellent. Its very heavy and solid for its size. Looks simple and elegant.

⭕ Next thing I have noticed the sound quality. I found the bass is tuned towards lower frequency which means you will hear more lower bass than upper bass resulting in no disturbance to the vocals and highs. You will hear the vocals and highs very clearly.

⭕ Bluetooth range is amazing. There is no signal loss even if you are listening in an another room with doors closed.

⭕ Speaker sounds better in closed rooms and small spaces. If you are using in a big rooms or outdoors it sounds like a normal speaker. You have to try various places in a room before finding the best one for the optimal output and clarity.

⭕ This speaker is more suitable for classical music, melodies, instrumentals like guitar, sitar, flute, light percussion. You will enjoy the clarity and instrument separation a lot.

⭕ There is no distortion or cracking in the audio even at 100% volume. There is no difference in sound quality at different volume levels. Which is noticeable only in expensive speakers.

⭕ Battery backup is very it shines the most. Majority of the brands will be left in the dust in this price range and size when it comes to the battery backup. You don’t have to worry about charging multiple times. It will go for a week easily if you listen 3-4 hours a day at 60-80% volume on average.

Few negatives which I have observed:

❎The flap to open the charging and aux port is very tight and difficult to open if you don’t have nails.
❎Charging time could have been better. Takes around 3-4 hours for full charge.
❎Doesn’t sound good even in 15X15 hall also. Strictly good for up-to 12X12 rooms only.
❎When you need loud sound with room filling bass it will disappoint you because of the tuning, wattage and size restrictions.
❎No App support so you have to rely on your input device’s settings.

Otherwise its a bang for the buck. Loud music lovers can stay away from this. It best suits for listening to melodious music in calm and peaceful environment and watching movies on laptop.
