It’s a great gaming headset. It fits loose on your head, but firmly. I wear glasses, and play a lot of games, so this is important to me because a lot of headsets push my glasses against my head and after awhile it can really hurt. It has a sound control panel on the chord. While this can be useful, it is the worst part about the headset in my opinion, because often times I will accidentally press the buttons with my arm while moving because the panel is way too high up on the chord, and the buttons are very easily pressed.
Other than that, the sound quality is fantastic, the mic works great, and it’s reasonably priced. After my last headset that I had for years broke suddenly, I wasn’t sure that I’d be able to find another one as good as it for the same price I got that one for, as it was discontinued over the years. This was cheaper, and I like it way more. I highly recommend this headset, minus a few light complaints.

Really comfortable to wear.
No customizability whatsoever,be it the rgb lights.
Sound quality below par.
There are better options available.
Don’t buy.

Lighter than the non Pro Amazon Basics model and more comfortable over a longer period. I actually prefer the Mic on the cheaper model… so maybe Amazon will get something that combines the better comfort of the Pro with the (in my opinion) better Mic of the base model (audio wisw it’s fine, It’s just a plastic boom that can’t be shaped like the cheaper version.. (note, I got them whilst on sale.. not sure I would have bothered if they were full price.. but then, I’m just a bit tight!)

So the headset is actually a great bang for your buck. It sounds wonderful for both gaming and listening to music. I mostly play Apex, and the distance and accuracy at which I can hear footsteps and gunfire is astonishing. Especially considering what I paid.
Now here’s the bad part. The original headset I ordered broke after one month of usage. See pic. The cord ripped apart from where the buttons are. What happened is that the material of this cord is EXTREMELY prone to twisting. I noticed this becoming a problem after only a week of usage and I had kept smoothing the cord out to remove the little curls that it forms, because obviously you don’t want those to form because it will damage internal wiring etc. So the cord wripped out after I had tried doing this for the umpteenth time. Amazon replaced it for me thankfully, but now I know that I need to find some magical solution from keeping the cord from curling up all over the place, as the curls are extremely stiff.
All in all, if you can find a way to avoid this then this headset is an absolute bang for your buck. Once again, the sound quality is fantastic. The comfort is as well. I was really surprised when I realized I had been playing with it on for three hours one day, and not had a headache.

Sound is really bad at this price point. It’s not clear and sound muffled. Also, mic is not upto the mark. Rather , AB headphones for a lower price points sounds better than this one. I really didn’t understand the point of 7.1 channel.
