As highlighted in image, I took immediate right but GPS mapped route incorrectly which is evident enough that GPS isn’t reliable and cant be trusted. Secondly alerts are pretty inconsistent. Jiothings app need fix on wifi SSID input field. Its constraints are weird and cant set SSID of my choice. Doesnt seems to me value for money as one time cost is too high and it misses some important features. Also be mindful after one year you would need to pay subscription charges too.

Update: Pretty much Useless app at this price. No customer care. Not correct analysis on fault code. Works 50-50 for VW Polo. Ican see the check engine light on car dashboard but nothing in App.
It took some time to make it work. 2 days to be exact. You have to register it and then call customer care where you get another number of customer care cause who gives correct customer care number in these years, right?
Coming to usefulness. Its good enough for tracking location but not exact. Some time notifications are late by 5-10 mins.
App hangs 4 of 10 times.
Towing notification never came. For something priced this high features are really unworthy and app is buggy.

The product is also good
. He work perfectly. But kabhi kabhi garmi ke karan hanging problem aa jati hai . But nikal kar dubara lga do to sahi ho jati hai. Is problem simple solution ac ko face and leg me set kare taki vo cool rahe . Notification service is better. Ease of use to installation. Speed me 4-5 km ka difference rahta hai. Safety ke liye jab car dhup kam khari kare . Speed ko accuracy ko badhay .

Must have product for cars which are driven by many or who has driver.
Nice to have product for tech enthusiasts.
Product is robust and nice build quality.
Little bit overpriced when compared to features. But in the current market all these features are not available in a single product together.
Mobile app could have been better in terms of UI/UX. Notifications have time lagging. They should add more smaller features available features on OBD2 and make all the data available to user to log or download.

The device works as advertised. All details as stated are available.
JioThings application is a bit fussy at times, I had trouble initially, when it complained no internet on my phone. When I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and went to another Internet connection (not from Jio), it could connect to internet and onboard the JioMotive, the JioMotive could not download the eSIM in the first instance. I removed the device and reinserted it about half an hour later, when I received eSIM activation message from Jio, JioThings and JioMotive synced up and started working seamlessly.
An absolute pleasure to have the smart car features, when the car itself did not have them to start with! The status updates are not instantaneous most of the times, as they are with any smart car, JioMotive is easy to install and simple to use! I am enjoying its use now.

The device never registered on the network. This means that it is completely unusable. The app has no options to retry the registration.
I contacted the support team almost 3 weeks ago and have received the same message everytime that they are working on replacing the device. So far I have not received a replacement or any resolution to retry the registration.
I bought this device assuming that Jio would at least be able to honour the warranty in case it did not work.
My advice to anyone looking for such a device would be to look for one which uses a sim card rather than this one. The jio app seems to be rushed and is missing any ability to self diagnose and resolve any issues. The support is also not available which is the same with other devices.
I had got a Jio number just to use with this device. I would be disconnecting that and also would not be using any jio mobile products in future.
Update after contacting support more than 1 month ago: They are still working on my issue. So it is now more than 1.5 months after i bought the device and I am still unable to use it. The support is so pathetic that is laughable. I can only blame myself for assuming that Jio would support a product they launched.
