It’s a nice cam… I m using it for 5 months… It’s working well.

I was using TP Link’s Tapo Camera and was pretty happy with that. But that camera is a mid range cam (which means it costs over 2.5k) and now I wanted something cheap. So I went for this CP Plus CP-E25A.
The camera does what its made for, and here are my observations:
*There is a significant lag (of around 3-4 seconds).
*The Camera does not offer 5ghz support over the WiFi. it only supports the basic 2.4Ghz.
* In my experience the camera keeps losing the wifi connection every now and often and it becomes really frustrating.
*The two way audio isnt working in my camera. I try talking into the mic, but no sound comes out from the camera speakers. But since I dont need it, I am not raising a complaint.
*The video quality is nothing to complain about. Its crisp and clear. Even the night vision is great.
*Although sometimes, the camera auto adjusts itself and moves around. You have to go and fix it through the app.
*The SD card supports loop recording. Thats a good thing.
*I found that the app is not as intuitive as Tapo’s app.
So if you want a basic camera for just monitoring, go for it.

As per the 2mp lens, this camera provides excellent footage. It easily connects to WiFi and gives a complete view at 360 degrees. The siren and talk features are very useful in this. This means that a single family gets full security. This is the best product in 1K. Thanks CP Plus Team

Can be used at car parking area or in living room.. pairing with network is easy and night vision is also good. Connects to app and remote streaming is fine.
Good for this price range. Build quality is good. App is user friendly. Motion detect is okay and alarm on/off feature is there.
Mic is not clear while enabling two may communication. Audo recording/streaming is average.

This CP Plus camera is full of problems. Here are the major issues I faced:
Keeps Disconnecting: The camera doesn’t stay connected to Wi-Fi, making it useless for remote monitoring.
App Doesn’t Work Properly: The mobile app is very slow and keeps showing errors. Sometimes it doesn’t connect to the camera at all.
Bad Video Quality: The video is blurry and grainy, even during the day. Totally not worth the price.
Motion Detection is Very Slow: The motion detection feature works after a big delay, making it useless for security.
Makes Clicking Sounds: The camera makes weird noises while working, which is very
Don’t waste your money on this camera. There are much better options available in the market. Avoid this at all costs!

Full Reveiw for this particular model:
Pros:
Cheaper
Easy to connect and install
Mobile app available
Build quality is ok
Picture is good
Motion detect photo alert is sent to mobile app and notification sound is played (not long alarm, just message sound).
Camera view can be controlled using app.
Can be installed upside down on ceilings.
It is indoor cctv & Not fully outdoor cctv but does the job.
Has 2 way speaking option (audio is of medium volume and quality is ok to good).
Important CONS:
Poor overall sound while monitoring through app. Constant shrieking sound is made when audio is turned on and if there is any audio (so it should always be off when you open mobile app to hear any sound).
Audio echo occurs.
SD card is a MUST to record video (live stream is shown in app but for video record you need SD card on cctv. Record on mobile is available, i.e you need to open cctv in app, and then press record button just like how you do in your mobile camera, but that will close if you close the app.)
Motion detect alert will show only an image in your phone, then you need to quickly see it in phone app. Else you cant view the video of what happened.
No option to view what’s recorded in cctv sd card (also if you set loop recording, contents will be erased after sometime, so set to event based recording which will record only when there is any motion).
Imagine if cctv is stolen along with SD card, there is no way you can see what happened, you will be just left with one picture in app (so this is fully indoor, and you should not expect any movement, if any movement occurs, you need to quickly take action/call police, that’s the only option you are left with).
Needs constant power supply, no battery backup and power cable is not very long, can jus place within 1-1.5 ft.
CP PLUS must definitely provide access to view what is on SD card remotely, atleast store it in CLOUD for atleast 1-2 days, because, there is no way, people can constantly look out for motion alerts and keep watching it on mobile and say if cctv is stolen, nothing can be viewed. IT IS MUST THAT VIDEO ON SD CARD SHOULD BE SAVED ON CLOUD/ MOBILE AUTOMATICALLY. THATS THE ONLY WAY TO IMPROVE this CP PLUS CCTV.
You can buy if you just need to keep an eye for any motion. For permanent long time businesses or long time house tracking, this doesn’t suit all the cases.
