Liked the ease of setting up the Document Camera. Instructions available in the package. This product saves lot of effort and time when compared to a flatbed scanner.
My main use is to take pictures of documents in a file without having to remove papers from file. The Photo mode of Document Camera is the easiest. Document mode is more useful as it senses the edge of paper and gives a clean photo of the document. However, if there are folds in the document, there could be issues of not automatically selecting the entire page of the document. Here photo mode can be used. It can be improved to allow users to make changes to the automatically selected area by the device.
The stand is made of appropriately heavy material so as to hold the device in place. It is also easy to fold and store in the box provided. It is value for money compared to other models available in market.

I got this for a secondary camera to use with zoom to show a view of my desk (flashcards or closeups of techniques using my hands). This is actually the second document camera that I purchased to try out, and I’m much more pleased with this one. I like that it has a large range of positionability (that’s not a word, but I’m going with it), and also the variable built-in lighting is mega-useful. It’s plug-n-play with my mac; I love when I don’t have to install anything else to use a device.
