One cartridge can print only 20 page max. It’s too costly. I had Pixma E460 before which i could print more than 100 pages in one cartridge ..this is toooo costly
There is a work around. You may disable the ink monitoring by pressing the stop button for 5 seconds.
And you can refill the cartridge manually..there are YouTube videos on how to do this

The media could not be loaded.
The printer is old model and not delivered under working condition. Canon website shows serial number is out of warranty. I called back Amazon and promised me for replacement. Next day when I called back they denied replacement.

I was starting my office and decided to buy a printer with scanner, so bought this one. After buying and installing it, we gave around 10-15 printouts and the notification popped up saying that the cartridge is out of ink please buy a new cartridge. Searched online and found that it costs around Rs. 750/-. So, what I conclude is that for every 15-20 printouts I have to buy Rs.750 cartridge. It simply says that per page of printout costs me around Rs.30-Rs.35. And the website claims that the cartridge gives around 100 pages per cartridge. Which is just a false claim. I wanted to return this product and due to Holi festival our offices were closed so today I got the chance to test the printer after the holidays. And wow It was gone out of ink in 20 pages. I would request the amazon people to give me an option of replacing this printer with some other. Our work is suffering a lot.
Waste product. Please do not buy, neither for home nor office.

I am using this printer from 1 month. Now it also working, there is no issue in printer. In first time it only print 15-20 pages but after refill, it print above than 100 pages. I am very happy from this printer. It give good quality at cheap rate.
