After studying so many products and reviews of this product , i took chance with the canon brand name, and honestly speaking it’s best printer [after Printing 200 prints on all diff. media] , that i have used so far. Best quality of printing , on all media i have tried. Also tried paper more than 325 gsm paper also. Its printing nicely. Scanner also works very smooth and fst with its app. Thanks team amazon for deleivering it fast [ in 18 hrs of ordering it ] Canon brand , one can blindly trust for reliability and results.

It’s value for money. Print quality is superb and I tried from both laptop and cell phone that it works fine. And I’ve purchased two pieces for my friend and me.
There is no compromise in the colour pigments and it prints exactly without having colour fades. And it doesn’t have paper jams frequently. It supports higher (upto 300) gsm of papers.
It would be far better if the scanner runs on network and USB simultaneously for laptop or pc. The scanning options are appreciated. If you have installed Canon IJ network Scanner Selector EX2 than you scan over network but you must need an Internet connection. If you don’t have Internet connection you cannot scan any document. But if you want to scan using USB, you must uninstall the network Scanner, and then you can scan, but you can’t scan over the network. Basically, you can’t have the both scanning options. However, I gave five stars, but it is not an issue. It’s just a choice only.
Mobile printing is really applaudable and very easy for setup.
And it may be difficult to setup for the users who don’t have proper knowledge of computers and printers. And, it is best printer for home and small business.

I stumbled upon this after I found few concerning reviews on other brand printer I had narrowed down. Though a bit expensive, I think it was a good decision.
Received original package, no tampering.
Followed the 3 page installation manual easy to understand steps & within 20mins I was all set. Remember to follow each line (do not skip any step)
It comes with one set of ink bottles, First time fill empties the bottles.
After the initial setup, to connect the printer opened canon url, given on the manual, on my laptop (works for both windows & Mac). Followed connection setup procedure. This downloaded the printer driver on laptop and as well connected the printer to laptop over the wireless network.
I also downloaded the canon app on mobile to print directly from phone over wireless network.
Color print was decent, don’t expect professional photo quality color print on regular paper. I haven’t tried color print on photo paper yet.
Printing speed is very good. Few reviews mention of printing sound but I didn’t find anything beyond regular printing sound.
The only recommendation is to have multiple pages option on this printer driver, for example user should be able to enter 1, 4, 7, 9 to print these pages without having to enter one page number at a time to print. The driver does allow to print all pages in a document but not select pages.
Overall a good wireless home printer with great quality & printing speed. This review is written on the first day of use after printing 8 color & 26 B/w pages.

NOTE: I am using the the G-3020 model which is the Wi-Fi printer and not the USB one.
EDIT: I’ve been using this printer for a month now and it works perfectly well. Very smooth operations and the print quality is perfect. I am loving the print speed of this inkjet printer over my previous deskjet one, printing a large number of copies is no more a time consuming task. Also, the copy function works just fine. In short no complaints.
This review is based on my usage on the first day.
Installation: What I had read in other’s reviews here on Amazon was that this was pretty hard to setup, especially connecting through a wifi. Here’s my setup experience:
1. The user manual is crisp and informative. Each step of installation has a QR code that will take you to a well detailed video page for a walkthrough.
2. I didn’t struggle with any of the steps and the installation was smooth.
3. I use an iPhone and setting up the printer through Wifi was straight forward. Downloaded the Canon app and it did the job to find and setup the printer on my network.
Usage: Tried out all the modes in the printer.
1. Printing is smooth and fast. I tried printing documents and photos from both the Canon app and directly from my phone and they worked very smoothly.
2. Print speed of photo is about 5-8 seconds and documents are printed in 2-3 seconds.
3. Realized that it’s advisable to adjust the print settings in the Canon app before printing photos for optimum results.
I shall wait and see how the printer works over time. But for the first day’s use I got to say I am very impressed.

This printer is sooo fragile and not at all reliable. Motherboard is damaged within 1.5 years just after warranty is over. Canon is the worst printer brand.
