- The innovative antenna design provides a long-range, symmetrical-link coverage area, and the antenna gain of this access point performs better than one-way, high transmit power does for connecting distant clients.
- Excellent signal from access point coupled with excellent reception from smart phone
- Collects feedback on full 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz channel interface Pushes clients to faster interference-free, 5 GHz channels Minimizes problem-client effects on system performance by limiting their airtime access
- The UniFi Controller v4 software is a powerful, enterprise wireless software engine ideal for high-density client deployments requiring low latency and high uptime performance. With its software-based capabilities, the UniFi virtual control plane allows for unlimited scalability under one centralized controller. You can remotely access the UniFi Controller to upgrade deployed UniFi APs while in the field.
- Unlike traditional enterprise Wi-Fi systems that use a hardware controller, UniFi comes bundled with a non-dedicated software controller that can be deployed on an on-site PC, Mac, or Linux machine; in a private cloud; or using a public cloud service.

Amazon Customer –
had a challenge with delivery and they fixed the issue immediately. The product is awesome, i have in home and business

I was under the impression that long range would mean it would get better signal through walls, but it doesn’t.
I have one of these on both ends of my house and as long as I’m in the house I’m fine, but the moment I step outside the WiFi goes away.
Overall they work great. Will just have to get an exterior access point in the future.

I have two in the home, and have complete coverage inside and outside. Ubiquiti documentation sucks, and you need to be a little technically inclined (or set up routers and things and gotten used to some of the protocols) to make this work. I try to document steps as I go along for the next time I need to set/reset these, for it took me a few hours to figure everything out to make these work. The 5 -star is for the set up product working very well, and NOT for what it takes to set them up (which would get a 2 star).

Easy to install and configure but you do need a controller software or device… My advice use the software the device is not needed and just adds cost.

What a great product… Software is elegant and nice to work with for the beginners yet has the power users still covered. I am going from a home that had 5 count em 5 wireless devices giving a 4000 sq/foot home WiFi. This home is a mix of construction over a very long time span… 1880s, 1950s and the last addition in 2004. So yea we run from modern building materials like engineered floor beams and sheetrock to plaster and lath with hand cut oversized beams.
I put just one of the two APs I got into the very center of the house on the 2nd floor and I actually had a fairly strong signal from all of the living rooms in the home (as well as a finished basement with a very tall 11′ ceiling.
Really amazing stuff!
I will place these in such a way to ensure all of the house gets near perfect signals and with any luck will be able to maybe reach the detached garage.. and if not I know I can buy an external kit to get that area covered as well.
Amazing and highly recommend!
