Very easy to install. Signal is also good. I’m using this in mountains. It receives signals almost 5kms aerial distance. Using it almost from 3 months no problem from this product up till now. Go for it without any second thoughts.

Have 3 of this and now i got wifi all over my farm and in the different houses. Little bit tricky to set up if you only have the manual but use some guide from Youtube instead. Great bang for the buck!

The Good Doctor –
WASTED. After talking with the TP-Link customer care and describing my need, they suggested me this device which failed MISERABLY. Now for my need, I wanted to sent my home internet to my factory which is just 834 meters (Air Distance) which purely failed despite they told me the wifi signal will reach 5 KM(Joke of the Millennium). Today I tried to connect it to my Second house whose distance is mere 233 meters, even here it couldn’t keep a stable connection and struggled to get speed. And I know what I am Saying so if anyone thinking of purchasing this device Please DON’T. It’s Not Worth a single penny.
And too few who thinks I could have returned it, Yaa i could but my returned windows was closed by the time i wanted to return.
P.S. – And for those it might have worked please mail me I want to know how you made it work.

These units were a godsend solution for my ever nerve wrecking regular cable damage by snaps, heat damage or whenever a tree falls. Many hazards in india. A STABLE Wireless solution is the one for me so decided to experiment & bought the 2.4Ghz CPE 210 units to connect my Home (AP) & two office buildings (Client unit 1 & 2).
P.S – I got these even as I knew that 2.4G band has a lot of interference. My area has less network congestion. Will post again when I compare with my future 5Ghz CPE units.
CPE 210 has a Built-in 12dBi 2×2 dual-polarized directional MIMO antenna, Adjustable transmission power from 0 to 30dBm/1000mw, System-level optimizations for more than 13km long range wireless transmission, TP-LINK Pharos MAXtream TDMA (Time-Division-Multiple-Access) technology improves product performance in throughput, capacity and latency performance, ideal for PTMP applications. CPE210 is dedicated to cost effective solutions for outdoor wireless networking applications. With its centralized management application, it is flexible and ideal for point-to-point, point-to-multipoint and outdoor Wi-Fi coverage applications. Professional performance, coupled with user-friendly design, makes CPE210 an ideal choice for both business and home users.
TP-Link’s claim is 5km+ Wireless Data Transmission. I never tested that range. My 2 offices were 0.5 & 1.2 KM away from my home. No signal drops for me.
TP-LINK MAXtream Tech – As network scale increases, wireless competition and collisions among CPEs and base stations will be so enormous that the real throughput of the network will drop, resulting in a serious impact on end-user experience. To mitigate these effects, the CPE210 uses MAXtream TDMA Technology. This, I really have no idea if it really works or it’s just a marketing term. Still, my connections never dropped.
Management tools include –
• Antenna Alignment: We can use the antenna alignment tool to adjust the direction of the APs using a live signal strength meter to judge which direction is best making setup that much simpler.
• Distance Setting: With the AP’s ACK timeout tool able to adjust the distance between two APs, it allows us to set a specific distance in order to establish the most robust wireless connection possible.
• Ping Watch Dog: enables us to maintain the ping command to check the quality of the wireless link and can reboot the remote AP if the wireless signal becomes worse or disconnects.
The 210 also comes device discovery, status monitoring.
So far so good. Happy Purchase. Worked for my Home to my clinic Office LAN setup (1.2KM – One AP unit & one Client unit) installed in direct line of sight.
Since these units have stable transmission speeds & connection, I’ve ordered the 5Ghz units. Will convert the 2.4G unit’s use for my network cameras.
A week later:
I just realised that the 2.4Ghz band won’t give me the full potential of my existing gigabit LAN with a 300mbps fiber WAN. my office LAN internet speeds never crossed 45mbps. But at home I’m getting 255-270mbps speeds. Since these 2 units are a successful experiment of mine, I ordered the 5ghz CPE710 867mbps 23dbi model units for the updrade. Then I’ll repurpose the existing units for my office’s network video recorder’s video transmission to my home.

Pregi:
1. Connessioni Wi-Fi a lunga distanza: Il CPE210 offre connettività Wi-Fi fino a lunghe distanze, rendendolo ideale per l’uso in spazi esterni come cortili, giardini, campeggi o aree remote.
2. Antenna ad alto guadagno: L’antenna integrata da 9dBi fornisce una copertura potente e una migliore penetrazione del segnale, ottimizzando le prestazioni in ambienti con ostacoli o con segnali deboli.
3. Alimentazione tramite PoE: Il supporto PoE (Power over Ethernet) consente un’installazione flessibile senza la necessità di disporre di una presa di corrente nelle vicinanze, semplificando l’installazione in ambienti all’aperto.
Difetti:

Easy to program.
Led’s on outside are informative for signal strength.
Very powerful and directional.
Could scan significant distances, to find an open source wifi, thus allowing me to reduce my internet bill by connecting to open network and cancelling my own internet service.
5 stars.

I bought a pair to put at my coffee estate which has a very heavy tree cover. I have connected two cottages that are about 350ft apart but with a lot of trees/undergrowth between them. The CPEs are placed about 8 feet above ground level. The connection is pretty good and stable: 4 bars.

CPE210: Amazon parsel was in good condition but the Product box was already opened, seals was broken including inner polybags for screws and adapter was teared and safety plastic film over product was not there, So I was unable to make unboxing video of the product. Luckily product is in working state.
Regarding speed, while playing my NVR video feedback of 6 IP camera on my phone, showing 4 Mbps speed load but missing half of the video frames.
Range: I installed it at roof and checked that my phone wifi with 4 bars signal strength with distance around 300 mtrs on direct line of sight.

Good product but not get signal from 100 meter of access point it should be in line of sight i getting stronger signal with tenda f3 .

Bought it in January 2017 and have been using it 24 x 7 since then. No problems whatsoever till date.
Signal range is really good. Receiving it’s signal up to more than 120 meters.
The processor and memory performance is great. Reaching transmission speeds of 5-6 Mbps is no big deal for it. It handles those speeds with just 2-3% of CPU usage and 54-55% of RAM usage. Couldn’t test for greater speed as I was limited by my net connection package.
If you need to use it as an outdoor router for long distances, you may face an issue (explained below).
In the setup:
By selecting the “Region” as “India”; it limits the transmit power to 11 dBm.
You need to select some other region where you may go up to 27 dBm.
