I wanted to connect two buildings using fibre. I bought a pair of these media converters and they are truly plug and play. I ran some network (iperf3) tests and attached are the results. The network was in (slight) use but you’ll get an idea of the performance. Two Linux computers, no resource bottlenecks on either.

Me funciona perfecto para no usar cable de red tan largo y me conecta sin problemas y sin configuracion, yo en mi caso necesite 2 ya que los switches que tengo no tienen fibra y los convierto a travez de estos equipos sin problemas

Ordered for my fibre to home connection; since my tp link c9 router didn’t have a fibre input port. But this product, the MC210CS Works only for >1 Gbps connections, this product is not for 10/100 mbps ftth/broadband connections. For 10/100 mbps connections customers should try the MC110CS.

N’ayant pas de place dans le boitier où arrive la fibre, j’ai donc acheté deux boitiers TP link et un cable (10G SFP+ DAC Twinax Cable) pour relier le tout et cela fonctionne impeccable.
Branchement : TPO vers entrée fibre ONU (livré par Free)->tp link (SFP) 2.SORTIE DU TP LINK en RJ45-> prise murale RJ45->autre prise murale RJ45->TP Link en RJ45. on ressort de la TP link avec le cable SFP et l’on branche l’autre extrémité dans la Freebox.
