Recived damaged product, MSI has horrible service. Its been 3 week since my monitor is with MSI delhi sevice center and no sign of getting back the product at all. I built my new pc but couldn’t use it for last 3 week as monitor haven’t been returned to me yet.

So for those who will be buying this monitor for connecting to their laptop, please note this!!
The monitor itself is beautiful I’ve used MPRT mode which basically tweaks the performance of the monitor everything including refresh rate, adaptive sync etc.
But the main problem is if you are thinking to connect it to your laptop and expecting to use full 180hz, IT WOULD NOT BE POSSIBLE. When you connect via a HDMI cable, the cable only provides the highest refresh rate output of your laptop (max 144hz). So if you have a 120hz laptop it would max 120 and for 144 it would do 144. But if only and only your laptop has a MUX Switch it is possible to fully utilize 180hz. Or if your laptop has a Type C port with Alt Display Mode or a Display Port you can utilize the 180hz. So yeah keep in mind.

Quality of panel is amazing, color looks vibrant bit warm or reddish but can be changed in settings as it is totally depends on personal choice.
Refresh rate feels good enough and response time also, as fastest response time it doesn’t ghost image as much. Easy to setup.
Stand is easy to install. Quality of Stand Is good doesn’t cover much space front side (like 30%) back side 70%.so you can place keyboard close to monitor good for small size table.
Power adaptor: 2 power plugs in box one is 6Amp which doesn’t have earthing pin other is 11A big Plug
It’s value for money, best choice

I have purchased this monitor to be used as a secondary display along with my laptop’s display. Display of the monitor is quite good although it requires a bit of calibration.
Color Calibration : I found out that the SRGB mode provided in the OSD of monitor gives more natural colors and are more pleasing to the eye. Also with the help of color management software in windows colors can be calibrated more accurately. Not sure if its only on my product by default red color on the monitor looks a bit boosted even when on SRGB mode. So had to further calibrate it using the color management software in Windows.
Brightness : Brightness on SRGB mode is quite good. I had to bring the brightness level down to 40 to not hurt my eyes while watching anime or when the screen is white like opening website pages or writing something on a word etc.
Other modes : I haven’t tried playing games on this monitor. Hence, haven’t used the gaming modes provided but did try them to see the quality of the image. They heavily boost colors and sharpen image. Not ideal for watching contents such as YouTube, movies or such unless you like very vibrant colors. Not sure what these mode does to the picture quality while playing games.
Refresh rate : As mentioned earlier I use this display as a secondary monitor along with my laptop’s display. Both are connected via the HDMI cable provided with the monitor. HDMI cable provided with the monitor is sufficient enough to provide 180 Hz refresh rate.
Upon connecting the monitor with laptop. The monitor by default would be set to 60 Hz. To change the refresh rate.
1) Right mouse click on desktop. Click on “Display Settings”.
2) Then scroll down go to “Advanced Display Settings”.
3) Under choose display. Choose your monitor “MSI G244f E2”.
4) After selecting your monitor change the refresh rate to your desired refresh rate which would range from 50 Hz to 180 Hz.
5) As a proof that HDMI cable is more than enough to give you 180 Hz I have given a photo of the same above.
Hope my review helps for those who wants to purchase this monitor.

It’s a fully packed product with 180hz refresh rate. A wide colour gamet.
The colours on the monitor look amazing and it’s brightness is commendable.
Overall value for money and a big jump from 60hz.

1. The refresh rate is not as advertised. You only get 60 FPS whatever cable you use.
2. My screen went black on second day. I raised for refund. Amazon customer support advised me to contact MSI.
MSI picked up my monitor privately. And no response for 20 days.
I contacted Amazon now, they are saying they cannot do anything.
Absolutely rubbish. I want my refund.
I will keep raising my voice until I recieve my funds.

If u have the money just buy an oled monitor. For the price this is a very good monitor only vad thing is the sound, it doesn’t give any sound from its speekers.
