Much is said about the screen wobbling , but HP has solved this in this model. Purchased it for image processing & deep learning . Good for advanced computing needs. Build is good and keyboard is classy and comfortable . Heating is ok and only when its processor intensive load . Else normal on the keyboard and workable – certainly not icy but decent . Can hear the fan noise while it roars but its ok and not always . Image quality is top notch . Laptop does not look like cheap quality build at all and has premium feel . Battery as expected is not great and lasts on an average 4-4.5 hrs during mild workload and maybe 3 hrs in heavy workload ( not tested yet ). Overall its a great laptop but is heavy like any gaming laptop and can be a challenge for travellers . I really did not find anything negative so far and this is certainly a good replacement of Desktop . won’t disappoint you for sure unless you are looking for long lasting battery and mobile weight .

This laptop is so good. The Ryzen 7 processor combined with rtx 3050 6gb GPU will give you really nice performance in most games at high settings, with the exception of a few like hogwarts legacy for which you’ll have to have a mix of high and medium settings. The keyboard is very good and the keys feel really solid. The build quality is great with a metallic matte finish. The thermals are also nice and work well enough to keep the temperature under check. Also if you’re wondering about the keyboard, it’s a one zone RGB keyboard not a white backlit keyboard. Just go into the omen gaming software and customise the lighting. Overall it’s a solid 9.5/10

Been using it for more than a week and it’s running crazily.. it’s totally worth it.. the performance is crazy.. battery backup is also good, got it for a discount and it’s totally worth the price, brightness is also very good it gives decent brightness and the overall quality of the product is top notch.. value for money is awesome.

Hi HP buyers, it’s excruciating to write this review. Usually, I don’t write reviews for buying the products, but today I am writing this because it’s very painful after buying an HP laptop. The electronics can fail, and the electronics will sometimes fail, but the problem is the service. The HP service is so pathetic, and they are not taking anything seriously for the past 20 days. I am waiting and waiting for so many follow-ups with HP. But still no use. This laptop failed in less than three months. The service from HP is very poor, and I regret buying an HP laptop.

This is the only review you all need to come across.
Build and Design –
The build quality is good, and the materials used are fine.
There is some flex at the center of the keyboard but nothing major.
The design is very understated and looks clean in my opinion.
The screen wobbles but not as much to render it unusable.
The HDMI port connects directly to the NVIDIA graphics, bypassing Optimus

Do yourself a favor and spend a little extra for the 100%srgb variant of the display, you will seriously thank your eyes.
The display is very nice with good colors and solid brightness. The 250 nits variant will disappoint you guys, it’s not *just* 50 nits less than the 300 nits variant. Nit count is not linear, it’s logarithmic.
The display out of the box had a slightly yellow tinge but than can easily be fixed in the AMD software.
Performance and thermals –
The R7 5800H does not break a sweat no matter what you throw at it. It’s so darn fast that it almost bottlenecks the RTX 3050.
In other words, the RTX 3050 would be sweating at 100% usage while the r7 5800h would be chilling at 25% usage.
Talking about thermals, the CPU does reach 100 degrees Celcius if you are playing a demanding game(Ryzen chips go up to 105 degrees) but it’s nothing to worry about. The WASD area stays cool.
The fans will make noise and if you are in a quiet environment, I would recommend a pair of headphones for a better experience.
Battery Life –
Don’t expect wonders here, 4-5 hours on light usage. Maybe 6 hours if you change it to 60hz but nothing too special.
Some things I did not like:
1. The bottom bezel could have been smaller
2. The keyboard backlight is blindingly bright, there is no option to toggle the brightness of those LEDs, It’s just on or off.
3. 2 USB ports on the right side
4. It’s heavy (but that’s subjective)
Software Included –
MS Office 2021 [Lifetime]
Dropbox 100GB [1 year]
ExpressVPN [1 month]
Alexa
All in all, a solid laptop. 8.5/10

The laptop is a beast. Tremendous performance and true gaming laptop. The specs which I got are:
Ryzen 7840HS processor, 16 GB DDR5 RAM, 1 TB SSD and 6 GB RTX 3050 GPU, which runs ANY current age game I have installed to satisfaction.
Some myths to burst:
1. There is no wobbling as advertised earlier by some users.
2. Heating is not an issue. Its optimal as expected. I use a stand with in built fan anyways, just in case, but without it as well, its not a major concern.
Yet to come up with any cons. Working flawlessly for the last couple of days. Delivery and packaging was also excellent.
