It handles any task with ease.
Storage can be expanded using a 2230 (works perfectly fine, have to use double sided tape to keep it intact) or 2242 (recommended size) SSD.
Cons : Average camera and trackpad

This is the day 2 of using my Honor x14 2023
Pros:
Display is amazing , you can stream and watch hdr content.
Sound is amazing
Fast multitasking , fast processor which becomes a bit warm if you do heavy tasks as its design is slim and thin but its not really a problem.
Battery life is good , first charge i got around 5 hours .
Keyboard and trackpad are good
Build quality feels premium, no screen wobble at all.
Cons are non as of yet coz this is just the second day of using my laptop, I will update it after a week .
Update around a week of usage
Battery : I get of approx 4 hours of battery 12 hours claim is false but battery is sufficient, fast charging too
Performance : Fast laptop for any task except gaming coz its not a gaming laptop, yes laptop heats up in casual gaming and while charging so Im gonna buy a cooling pad
Build: No issues
Camera : Pathetic but I dont use it anyway
Overall value for money

Purchased this laptop from amazon . First impression -> Good build quality – for the launch price of 51k after discounts for 16gb variant , no other laptop comes even close.
Now coming to usability and practicality – lets start with cons
CONS:
1) H series CPU in laptop means heating – when using multi tasking or running benchmarks – Laptop becomes too hot neat left side keyboard and palm area. Only single FAN is not sufficient for h series laptops . Being metal laptop, heat is spread across laptop . Multi core throttling happening when running benchmarks .If you are using for normal things like video ,browsing etc. then fine. Should have given 1240p instead as it would have bought IRIS graphics compared to current UHD . If you have to use it for performance or editing 4k etc. , skip this laptop. Ryzen 7 7730u is way less heat for good multi core performance and slight less single core
2) 720P webcam is horrible – image is blurred . In these days when most laptops come with good FHD cam , the camera is not usable for meetings . So its useless cam
3) The full sized keyboard has serious issue – backspace, shifty and enter key are half of usual size. Unnecessarily they have accommodated arrow keys as full keys and reduced size of right shift , enter and backspace keys . this causes so many issues while typing if you are used to standard keypads of laptops like dell , samsung , asus etc
4) Trackpad is small for 16 inch laptop – samsung laptop and dell laptops offer way bigger trackpads. Touchpad is responsive though.
5) Charger is brick charger, and when you insert in socket , its so wide that switch you cant access for on or off. Samsung also gives same charger but its well designed with groove for switches. Such an inconvenience.
6) Only one usb c port – so either you charge your laptop or use as display to connect external. Both cant be done. There is HDMI but usb c is very convenient for docks
PROS:
a) Best metal build around 50k
b) Best Screen in 50k – period. 16:10 aspect ratio is so productive while using editing videos and coding etc. 100% SRGB is BOE company manufactured screen which is very good for price. MATTE screen so less glare
c) Keyboard is good tactile (apart from con issue of size of keys which i mentioned earlier)
d) Color is very good. Looks premium
e) Performance is very good (apart from throttling in high intensive.)
f) Disk read write is very good. High frequency RAM used.
g) Speakers are best for 50k laptop price. Better than my Samsung book 3 speakers costing 75k
I also got free 1 year Microsoft office 365 personal (needed to add to card while ordering)
Overall still best laptop at 50k with core i5 12th gen and full metal build. Period .
Service may be a concern but as of now cant comment of that.
If webcam is improved, and double fan was used to reduce heating and keyboard was not shortened, this would have been best laptop!

Laptop looks and feels very premium, and performance is very cool as well. If you are in a room with A/C or cooler, you will never have any heating issues. Despite of having H series processor, it doesn’t go too hot(my other machines did).
BUT
Keyboard was made logicless, I have lot of difficulty when I’m using Shift key, or the arrow keys. I can’t press Shift+Fn+right_arrow together, which is really bad for my coding experience. Camera is totally useless, you move in front of your camera and it will record the movement after ages!
Except the keyboard and the camera, I liked almost everything in the laptop. Even after having good amount of stuff in my browser, it opens within 100-200ms after I click, which is pretty awesome.
It also have built-in screen recorder, which records in really good quality and without watermarks.
I would recommend this if you don’t have serious problem with camera or keyboard.
Overall nice and premium product.
