 This laptop is a beast and is impossible to get a core i9 processor with a 3070ti anywhere near this price. The display is bright and punchy. The speakers are loud enough, but have absolutely no bass. At 2.8kgs, the laptop is very heavy and battery life is nothing to write home about. For me this is a desktop replacement laptop and suits my usage perfectly. I tried to buy this laptop from Dell directly, so that I could extend the warranty and push for some freebies, but as of 20th December, they hadn’t heard of this core i9 model. The charger comes with the big pin, which is absolutely ridiculous. I have to plug it into my AC or microwave plug point. I’ve called for an adapter (mx brand) so that I can use it in the regular socket. Also, the charging brick is huge. It is literally as tall and wide (but not as thick) as a brick. Maybe bigger than some bricks. The lights look absolutely incredible if you’re a teenager. Luckily, everything can be sobered down using the alienware control panel. It also comes with 15 months of McAfee Anti-virus and MS Office 2021. No idea why this laptop is made in China, even though most Dell laptops are made in India. The fans are loud, but do their job well. I felt heating only on the underside. With the weight and heat, it can never be used on your lap. I played GTAV with all the graphics set to max and the refresh rate at 240hz and never once did the laptop stutter or feel hot to the touch (on the top). I’m very happy with my initial impressions.
