The main reason I brought this model is to connect it either to my PC, laptop or my mobile. I have not tried it in my car yet but it should work fine. I get good transfer speeds while moving large files, even 3-4 GB video files on the drive,. Another advantage is this drive is immediately recognized by my Sony led and plays movies without any glitch. Overall a good buy.
