I have sold and used a lot of ADATA products and have never been disappointed with any of them until now. The case design looks good but I don’t see the protective tab lasting very long as it acts like it could fall out of the drive at any moment but the worst part of this, I bought this specifically because of its USB interface and was expecting a much better performing drive. This acts like a large flash drive and writes are extremely slow and jerky and not smooth like a external motorized or SSD would be and it comes formatted in Fat32 which I discovered as soon as I tried to load a file over 4gb in size to it. I can’t complain about the price per gb as its definitely reasonable but I wish I had gotten something different. At first I thought it was maybe just this drive but a friend of mine saw mine and bought one himself and I tried his and it acted the very same way. Read speeds are decent and predictable but writes are terrible. if you are using this and think its fast then try a standard sata SSD in an external case and you’ll be shocked at the difference. This is not what I had expected at all and I have had 20 years experience designing building and selling PC devices and products. I will not buy another one and do not recommend this for anything other than archiving and portability. It definitely does not do what I bought it for.
UPDATE: 9-9-20; I thought I would give it one more chance so I used parted magic to “secure erase’ the drive, reformatted NTFS and did some testing on a few files and got the same results. This drive does not act or perform like a solid state drive and I finally gave up and this has now became the first item I have ever had to return to amazon, dropped it off a couple hours ago. I would suppose that if you use it for backups with its own software and live like an ostrich in a average user windows world it would be fine and I’ll admit. I liked the case. Unfortunately I am used to better performance and work with a lot of very large wav and raw files working with live bands and theatrical events and do lots of editing, not to mention constantly wrangling a lot of ISO operating system and software files for work. This was going to be my on the go pocket drive for events and things. Very disappointing, also the first Adata device I have ever had issues with. I knocked it down to 1 star, the case earned that much.

1) Sturdy , Fast data transfer , Highly Durable. Costly but Value for Money.

2) This is my 2nd time purchase of ADATA 1 TB Hard disk. Previous one is 12 yrs old & still running with ease.

3) Standard delivery by Amazon with good packaging.

Es compatible con MacOS Mojave para usarlo solamente en utilidad de discos seleccioné borrar, lo renombré y seleccioné el formato exFAT que permite usarlo también con Windows NO usé el Time Machine para borrar y respaldar ya que lo quiero para usarlo también como memoria externa y sin problema he pasado archivos de la Mac al disco externo.
el alto es de 13.5 cm (aprox. 5.5 pulgadas) el ancho es de 10 cm (aprox. 4 pulgadas) y tiene apenas 2.5 cm (1 pulgada) de grosor es mas pequeño en relación a sus antecesores, ligero. también trae un led azul que indica la trasferencia de archivos . Recomiendo también adquieran una funda, las de marca Amazon salen muy buenas y protegen. Recomendable

I ve used it a short time but in general it works good, looks great, resistent, nice, and in my previous experience with Adata hard drives they were quality products.

No tengo mucho de usarlo pero a simple vista se ve muy fuerte, bonito y trabaja bien. Tambien esta el plus de que los discos duros que eh tenido antes de esta marca me han salido muy buenos.
