Clean as a whistle inside. Ready for upgrading. Slight need for cleaning outside didn’t matter. Wonderful shipping packaging. Computer worked beautifully just out of the box, and when I looked to see how much undesirable crapware was loaded along with (already activated) Windows 10 Pro, I found none, zero, zilch. Oh, joy! Worth more than the price.
It was already fast and capable, but when I added 8 Gigs of RAM and a second SSD, it soared. I may have just lucked out by comparison with other reviewers who have found fault with this item, but whatever, I’m a happy camper.

256 gb SanDisk sata ssd, 8gb ram with Samsung chip set. Clean refurbishing and like new condition.
Added one 8gb DDR31600 mhz 12800 bandwidth RAM of Samsung make and 4gb Nvidia 730 chipset low profile graphics card. Now it’s utterly butterly smooth whatever and whenever is assigned to it. It’s a robust setup within a very thin budget.

You can’t go wrong with an I-7 processor, it is fast, and also compatible for not so complicated gaming. Just one annoying issue is the noisy fan….. somehow even noiser than my bathroom fan.

After reading both the positive and negative reviews I decided to go with this machine. I wanted something with an Intel core i7 processor and this fit what I wanted. I also ordered a an additional 16 gigs of memory (https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B0064DQR9U/ref=cfb_at_prodpg), along with a low profile graphics card (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DOFD0G8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1).
The machine came with 8 gigs of memory, two 4 gig modules in the primary buss slots. I replaced these with the 8 gig modules and installed the 4 gig modules in the secondary slots for a total of 24Gbs of memory. The primary slots are black and the secondary are white. Installation was easier when the drive holder is raised and out of the way. The memory inserts only one way so you can’t go wrong, slide the modules into the clip slots and press down until you hear them click into place. The graphics card came with small mounting adapters, removed the full sized one and installed the smaller one. The install went ok, a bit tight but enough wiggle room to get it inserted. Only hassle was removing the top, it fits tight and you have to lift and slide back, other than that everything got installed with really no problems.
Plugged in the monitor and blue-tooth dongle for keyboard/mouse, removed the wireless dongle (my router is 2 ft away) and turned everything on. Got a message saying the machine needed to be repaired, did a reboot and got the same message. I shut it down, unplugged it and waited until I finished a cup of coffee. Plugged it back in, turned it on, and the first message I got was it recognized the memory upgrade, next it recognized the monitor, then windows was booted. Entered the serial number from the sticker and everything was fine.
Internally there is an empty bay for a 3.5″ hard drive, three PCI slots, and four memory slots, along with the ssd drive and cd/dvd drive. The back has USB3 and USB2 ports, speaker in/out jacks and stuff I don’t need. My monitor is plugged into the hdmi port on the graphic card (better than the on-board intel graphic driver) and the bluetooth worked immediately for my keyboard and mouse.
From a cold boot the unit is ready to log on in less than 15 seconds, my old machine seemed to take about a minute if not a day. My internet browser loads and is ready in about a second. The ssd drive really makes a difference in program loading and running time, a big difference.
Right now I have two dual hard drive docking units (total four external drives), one brother label printer, and a card reader, all plugged into the USB3 ports. Everything was recognized immediately, with no impact on performance.
The reason for the added graphics card was due to the recommendation of a retired Intel nerd, he also recommended at least 16 gigs of memory due to the way Windows Pro works.
All in all, I’m very happy with this machine, it’s fast and does everything I need it to do, and no doubt, more. I highly recommend this machine from this vendor. Oh, I’m saving the internal drive bay for a 3TB hard drive for my backups, that should be enough storage for a couple of months or so.
