i bought i3-9100f for my first pc build at price Rs-6300/- only, packing was good thanks to seller. if you have tight budget thani can suggest you go for this or else always try to buy i5 or i7 for any generation plus with integrated graphics(mnc you dont need to purchase extra graphics card) NOTE- this processor does not have intergrated graphics i paired it with gt-710 2gb that was best at lowest price.

Purchased from seller OnlineBoss for Rs 6080/- after applying discount. Delivered in time but packaging was not proper. Box was opened earlier and second time taping was visible. Seems to be returned product. Took a chance and installed. Using with Gigabyte H310M M.2 2.0 Mobo, crucial 8gb ddr4 and asus Geforce GT710 GC. working fine. Pros: 1. 9th gen processor with avg 3.6 Ghz speed. 2. Low Cost 3. Good for home and gaming.
Cons: 1. Requires discreet Graphics card for basic VGA Display which left MoBo ports unused. Does not give any display without graphics card.

I was disappointed with the packaging of the CPU. Also there was a tiny bit of dust on the thermal paste area on back side of the stock cooler…but not a severe issue. Other than that satisfied with my choice. I have gone with this CPU because I was on a strict budget of less than 13000 RS of CPU + motherboard so that I can get to spend more on graphics card. I went for gtx 1650 super gddr6 type. This CPU is the cheapest there is which will give minimal bottleneck.Can upgrade to an i5 in the future if needed.

What did I buy it for?
I had purchased 9100F for reviving an old desktop I had lying around as it had components (read LG-flatron monitor, Cabinet, an old GT-210 graphics card and a PSU) that I wanted to reuse. Once I rebuilt the system, I found the performance to be powerful and smooth enough. I haven’t really tested it on heavy-demanding games, though it seems to generate decent frame rates on the lighter ones.
What can we do with it?
We can build a decent PC under 25K with the 9100F (including peripherals, monitor and graphics card) for routine home-use and / or entry level gaming. The best part of the processor is, you don’t need an overclock-able motherboard to overclock the 9100F thus a simple H310M chipset would do just about fine. Other processor in the 10K bracket including Pentium Gold and Ryzen-3 fall short on the performance that the chip delivers. The only drawback is that one needs a dedicated graphics card for the display to work. If you look at it this too is a blessing, considering the fact that you can get a better / more-powerful dedicated graphics-card than supplied by Intel, alongside a comparable chip for the same price.

Make sure u know what you’re looking for, this CPU requires a discrete or separate GPU to be installed into the PCB/Motherboard, without a discrete Graphics Card u will NOT get video output. Considering the current price situation with processors in the Indian market, this is the best purchase for a budget CPU based on a price-to-performance ratio. Albeit, for gamers, a 10th gen i3 is even more efficient and productive with its 4 physical processing cores hyperthreaded to 8 logical processing cores..but this 9th gen i3 is very much capable by its own..and with a mid range or better GPU, can deliver u some of the best gaming performance u can hope within a budget. Now it’s competitor 3rd gen AMD Ryzen 3 retails for a similar price to that of an Intel 9th gen i5, so this CPU is the best option for a great purchase below 7k Rs (I bought it for 6200 Rs on November 2020).

I wanna recommend this to my friends but now, the price doubled! You can get latest i3 with built in graphics in the same price. It is very wrong that you are charging double for this product.
