Not gonna replace due to urgent in need of processor.
Edited on 01.06.2019: Excellently working from the beginning day. Very good performance. Can purchase with trust. I got very minimal scratches processor, some got huge scratches on their processor according to reviews. Tough its genuine and not oem. So u g can go for it.

processor is really good if you want to upgrade from Pentium to C2D go for it, you can run games till 2013 without any issue. Also I installed auto CAD 2013 and was working fine. Even catia was working good

I think it’s the best value for money LGA 775 processor in the market…This is because it has still got the guts to run the high end AAA and e-sports games of the last 5 years…Being used up,It’s frequency has been deteriorated to 2.53 GHz… But that doesn’t matter much if you choose a low-profile graphics card… My PC runs smooth at a refresh rate of 75Hz… Delivery and packaging was done well.. Just go for it if you have a budget of Rs.600….Also, found in good condition…

Battlefield 3 (med. settings)-40-45 FPS avg.
GTA V(low settings)-35-38 FPS avg.
Crysis 3 (low settings)-30-36 FPS avg.
CSGO(high preset)-75-80 fps avg..
NFS Rivals(med.settings)-30-32 fps.. avg..
AC 4 Black Flag(low settings)-23-27 fps. avg
Far Cry 4(low settings)-25-30 fps avg.
WWE 2K15(low preset)-30 fps capped
Fortnite(low preset)-38-53 fps avg.
Also, got good scores in openGL cinebench
So, overall I can say that this Processor has the still relevant powers required to run the graphics intensive games of this era… And at 720p you can enjoy gaming with it.. Because it doesn’t bottleneck your GPU…

First day Product received I installed using thermal compound its started but later I got problems like screen goes off and CPU too, after that I again installed previous CPU again and problem it was slow but problem with this problem not occurred
Then I examined this ordered CPU of Digifloor and found that there are scratches on contact surface of CPU..So i want a replacement and hope that seller will got problem and send a good working CPU this time

Pros :
1) no heating issues even with intense cpu tests
2) 64 bit
3) 3.15 ghz clock speed
Cons :
1) no thermal paste provided
2) Intel has officially announced this processor is NOT suitable for Windows 10
3) in Windows has system could only utilize around 89% of this processor’s power ie. 2. 8 ghz only ( as shown in the task manager). I had used various stress test and cpu utilisation was never more than 89%. (though works normally on Windows 7).
4) can only work with full efficiency in Windows 7.
5) there were some minor marks in the cpu indicating it was installed in a system before. ( can’t say whether it was used one or not but it was installed in a mobo before). But this cpu works fine
Conclusion :
Its a nice cpu for rs 600. Many cpu’s on amazon with lower price ( core 2 duo) gives heating problems so it is better to go with this one. If you are planning to use Windows 10 then DON’T buy it. But if you want to use it with windiws 7 go for it.

About Product:
As I said above, C2D E8500 is the best processor in its family. CPUboss benchmarks even show that it has got much better performance than 1st or 2nd generation i3 Processors ( I compared with i3-540,538). Best thing is that it has 6M of cache, allowing the system to attain its pick speed with Overclocking speed of 4.28 GHz from normal 3.16/7 GHz. I was assembling my PC but my budget was a bit tight, then I saw this C2D variant over here and ordered it. I’ve installed Windows 10 X64 on my PC with 2GB DDR3 RAM on ZEB-G41 Board. Believe me it is working like a champ. I haven’t faced any issues so far. I haven’t tried to overclock the processor yet and so I can’t talk about it. I can use my Browser (Firefox and Chrome together), MS Office 16 running alongside Visual Studio 2015, and even with this much load processor usage remains between 70-90%.
About Delivery-
Never bother about amazon.in delivery. They always make you exclaimed with their before guaranteed delivery dates. One thing, seller packed the processor with the CPU Fan in the same delivery box, when both stuffs were ordered from different sellers; that was really shameful for amazon.
But I didn’t care about that. I think they are just selling old processors because no one purchased them because processor seemed to be unused when I opened it, even no heatsink layer was there.
Overall Review-
The product is really Awesome but amazon frustrated me this time with their worst packaging. If you are building a budget system, I highly recommend this processor.
