Upgraded from Ryzen 5 1600 !
Still using First Generation B350M Motherboard.
Great to see the compatibility and support for AM4 even in 2024.
CPU gets hotter even when using 240mm AIO.. hits 86°C in full load.
Using MSI Kombo Strike 3 in BIOS keeps it under ~75°C under same load without losing any performance.
Power Efficiency is Phenomenal!

I would say if you are thinking about upgrading to your CPU in AM4 socket.
This is one of the best budget gaming high performance processor out there
Realtime in gaming compare to 5800x3d there is not much different in FPS and over all performance.
This one is beast run any game smoothly without bottlenecking my RTX 2060
For future i am planning to upgrade on RTX 4070 so there will be no issue with that too.
Great product love it

I was previously using ryzen 5 5600 (non X) with my 7700xt on an MSI B550 board and esports titles were running well on competitive settings and would only dip 20 fps below my monitor’s refresh rate (ie, 220 from 240). It however did struggle to give me that locked and stable 238 fps in every scenario however cpu intensive.
That is where this new x3D release from AMD came in with unlocked fps in the range of 400 with minimum dips to 350 in Rainbow 6 Siege which is my primary game. The results were similar for Valorant and Overwatch 2 as well where fps hovers around 400-450 with minimum dips to 350-370.
Locking the fps to 2frames below my monitor’s refresh rate (238fps) gave an insanely responsive setup that runs with minimal input lag on the all esports titles.
This cpu is truely a game changer.

This is a great processor for the price, great gaming functionality, temperatures don’t get too high either, no crashes since install at all so it is very stable. this processor is extremely fast for gaming as well. Great value here.

I have had my Ryzen 7 3800x paired with a Gigabyte b550 aorus pro for about 4 years with rtx 2060 super(GPU), long story short with my ryzen 3800x in games that are more Cpu bound say like BF5(battlefield 5), Insurgency sandstorm etc I saw a performance increase about 40% at 1080p since the price difference with the ryzen 7 5800x3d was about 13000 its a no brainer to pick the 5700x3d i must say i am very satisfied with the results and the last upgrade to my AM4 platform but if youre someone who wants more out of the AM4 and has a bit more cash go for the 5800x3d.

Back in January 2020, I built a gaming PC with a Ryzen 2700X. The CPU served me well, but I did not win the silicon lottery (so ram would not run stable above 2933 MHz) and there was definitely stuttering – especially in the first 5-10 seconds after loading into a new map in a game.
Fast forward to April 2024, and I just upgraded the CPU/Cooler, and Case (it was cheaper to get a new case then to replace all of the noisy fans in the old case).
The first thing I noticed was how much cooler and efficient the 5700X3D runs compared to the 2700X it replaced. I was routinely seeing 58-63C temps (with spikes to 70+C) with the 2700X, and now I am running 40-45C (even sometimes as low as in the high 30C range, and occasionally 46-47C).
Second thing is the complete absence of stuttering. I never realized how back the stuttering was, I knew it wasn’t good, but holy moley – it is soooooo smooth. Also, this CPU seems to sip power, unlike the 2700X, which loved to drink down power.
Third, I am now running ram at an ultra stable 3200 MHz. This computer also is nearly dead silent – other than some minor coil whine from the PSU.
I have seen significantly more stable frame rates (running a game at 120 fps now stays super close to 120 fps vs frequent dips to 60-80 fps. Microstuttering is now almost zero all the time, vs double digits percents all the time, and did I say super silky smooth gaming? Yes, I could have gotten the 5800X3D, but for me, this thing seems to be underutilized now, vs my always stressed out 2700X that was sweating out much higher temps with a nasty stutter at times. I might have built this a bit too quiet or it could be how cool this CPU runs, since instead of deafening fans, I can only barely hear some very muted electrical hisses and whines at times from the UPS severely manhandled PSU, even when gaming hard. The case is a DeepCool CH360 Digital and the cooler is an Arctic Freezer 36 A-RGB.

I was originally looking to get the 5800X3D, but its not available in any of the retailers in India. And that’s a good thing, because I realized the 5700X3D is as good as the 5800X3D but has lesser heating and lesser price. Great value for gamers who are already on a AM4 platform.
Just add a good dual tower air cooler and its works like magic. My idle temperature is at 45 degrees; whereas during gaming its around 65 or 70 degrees..
Overall excellent processor if you can’t spend for a new AM5 setup.

The product is legit and is as per the manufacturing specs i mean to say its not a rip off processor if you think its fake !

Boosts up 4.05 Ghz and is slightly lower performance compared 5800X3D but definitely would recommend the 5700X3D because of the price difference for in socket upgrades.
Go for AM5 if it’s a new build.
