Definitely upgrade for my i5 7600k. The cooler included is high rpm and a bit on the noisier side. The cooler keep the temperature though, but not recommend for heavy oc.

Beast of a processor paired with msi b450 tomohawk max
I wanted 3600 but 3600xt was at cheaper price on Amazon hence I went with it 21k is ok for an already oc’ed chip
U can tweak that on 3600 too and save few bucks
I have undervolted it and temps on gaming are around 75C for the stock cooler with fan noise that may disturb u if u haven’t put on headphones though

Got this with a msi b450m pro vdh max mobo.
The ryzen 5 3600xt has a pretty good performance. Not far off from its non+XT version but both were nearly the same price in Amazon(+-200 INR) for which you get a better stock cooler(wraith sphire) and slightly better performance.
Got the stock cooler equipped on this. Without overclocking (3.8 Ghz), never have I seen thermals go beyond 65 deg Celsius while playing any of the recent AAA games.
With overclocking(4.5Ghz) however, the thermals tend to shoot up to 85 deg Celsius. So I would recommend an aftermarket cooler for that purpose.
However, even in CPU intensive games, I never required overclocking and even in stock speeds it never bottlenecked my powerful GPU(Gigabyte RTX 2070 Super Windforce OC triple fan).

alright long story short, dont buy this 3600 “XT” variant unless you plan to overclock it through your bios and use a good cooler cause this thing gets “HOT” besides unless you can keep its temps under control you cant over clock it any ways.
personally i’ve intalled mine with a 240 AIO ‘n overclocked it to a Stable 4.6Ghz on all 6 cores using 1.37V.
no guarantee that it’ll hit 4.6Ghz but XT is more likely to,

Paired with G.skill ripjaws 3200mhz 8gb singke stick and 256gb M.2 NVMe (China company, purchased before ban. Dont hate) & 1TB WD HDD storage. And oh boy it delivers excellent speed boots within 5-6 seconds. The cooler it came with is pretty bad though 😅. Removed it and replaced with cooler master hyper 410. No heating issue even after oc temperature stays within 75°C. Honestly 3600X or 3600XT both are same but xt delivers 100mhz more speed.

Been using this processor for over a month. It’s a really good one for the price I got it for 22,500. Anything more would veer towards over pricing. However, it’s a very good powerful processor that will last for quite a few years. Heating issues are a bit worrisome in summer in tropical climate but there are ways to manage that.

Solid little enthusiast chip for the little OC freak in all of us.
I’ve managed a good 4.55GHz on all cores, with the system stable and happy. If you don’t need a silly amount of cores, this is the CPU for you. I mean, you’d be better off with a 3700X or even a 2700X for not that much more.

Best budget processor capable of everything from gaming to editing to multitasking.
This particular model comes with OC’d specs which are just a slight better than the base model, however the price difference iwth discount more than makes up for it. The fifth generation processors are god but this is still a beast in the mid range processor segment.
I use it for editing and streaming and I can assir you, it handles everything without a hitch. Plus the AMD stock cooler is more than enough to handle all of it. The temperature never goes above 54° which is incredible. However, you better take care of the fan and clean every few months. And when you do, do not forget to add a little thermal paste. Won’t require to do so when you do it initially just later.
Go for it. With the offers and the warranty attached, this processor is better than anything in the market offered by intel in the same range.

Do not hesitate. If you want built budget beast gaming PC so go with and feel the speed. I bought it ₹17,565 from Amazon. And literally an outstanding processor in this price segment.
Just few more things that I want you to note.
1) With stock cooler cpu temperature will be 65-75° while you are playing any games no matter which game are you playing
2) After using liquid cooler, cpu temperature is 45-60°
3) No need to over clock. You if you have this cpu, the next 5 years no need to worry about any games. It will help you to run smooth. So no need to over clock
4) Ryzen 3600xt=I7 10th gen. More or less same.

As I have mentioned earlier Àmaz0n intentionally packs tampered, duplicate, seal opened products in a very good packaging so to deceive the buyer, and doesn’t care about the packaging when the product itself is in a good box
So this came in a big jhola sized plastic which was 10x the size of the box, but the product is good
