I have this CPU on an Asus A320I-K Mini-ITX motherboard and I am using it as a living room PC. Since it has a very capable integrated graphics, I need not put in a graphics card even though that still remains as an option if I want to upgrade in the future. This CPU handles 1080p video perfectly and even 4K UHD which is very impressive considering the price and efficiency of this CPU.
I am also running it on Linux Mint 19 and it runs it perfectly and is very smooth and fast. However it took some troubleshooting as I wanted to get wake-on-lan (WOL) to work. Turns out that the hardware is all fine, and I just had to use a specific Linux kernel and after that, WOL worked perfectly fine. I can use an app on my smartphone to remotely wake up the computer.
I’ve been using it for 2 months now and not a single problem has emerged thus far. A huge upgrade to the previous Intel Core 2 Quad that used to power our HTPC.

Guys 3200g is honestly a good gaming cpu on budget. It comes with radeon vega 8 graphics integrated. Do not confuse with RX vega 8 because RX is different and better.
Anyways I was using this cpu with only single 8gb ram. But when I purchased another same 8gb ram and set up dual channel ram, my pc performance boosted🚀🚀 15 to 20 fps boost.
People are playing latest games on 3200g and vega 8 ofcourse most games on low setting but playable. Lookup “ryzen 3 3200g game test” on YouTube.

Amd always looks after a bujet pc builders this ryzen 3 with vega 8 graphics is amazing ithandles all tasks easily and you can also play mid end games at decent performance but for hich end you have to lower graphics and resolution to get above 30 fps

its a great apu but alone it can only handle some games i play apex ledgends, resident evil 7 rainbow six and i browse youtube this apu can just handle that it cant handle fortnite though, dont get me wrong its a great apu but needs to have a independent graphics card as well and its killer just letting you know the reviews on youtube doesnt call it like it is on fortnite it plays at 40 ish fps but has huge fps that can even some how get down to 1 which crashes

It is a least best option if you are not having a dedicated GPU, which fulfills your basic gaming needs. Except The last of Us, all other AAA games run @ ~30 fps with low-medium settings. Only in Last of Us game have noticed significant temperature raise in processor.
