Non mi dilungherò sulle sue caratteristiche, stuoli di esperti lo hanno testato in tutti i modi e con i suoi avversari di sempre, i processori Intel. Al momento in cui l’ho acquistato, considerando che è particolarmente votato al gaming, nei benchmark è avanti di un buon 10% (e oltre in qualche caso), per contro è costoso (sebbene, con un atto coraggioso, il suo prezzo di lancio era lo stesso del suo predecessore, il 5800x3D), consuma ben 100w (103 per l’esattezza, in TBD, anche se credo possa arrivare a 180w e oltre) e come dicevo è l’ideale per il gaming, per altri usi credo siano soldi sprecati.

I had previously installed this processor into a motherboard and had major problems. I am an experienced builder with AMD and never encountered anything like this before. I even RMA’d a motherboard thinking that no new AMD processor could ever have anything wrong with it. Once I sent back the processor and bought another one, I started to get better results.

Booted up first try on my AsRock PG Lightning X670-E board, 64GB Corsair DDR5-6000 RAM, RTX 3080. Games run phenomenal with this setup and Windows is extremely snappy. A subtle, yet noticeable upgrade from my Ryzen 9 5900X.
Motherboards are still more expensive than I’d like but that’s not the fault of this particular product.
Runs great with an inexpensive 240mm MSI AIO cooler.
