Its a decent PSU meant to support the power is design for its output. I used it for an office pc design to use little power. This PSU can take gaming if you can balance the power is taken by PCU and Graphic card taking in consideration your using ddr4 and M.2 on the motherboard.

i am using this product for 1 year now and not facing any power issues in my pc, actually i purchase this psu for my graphic card which i paired with ryzen 5 2600 and rtx 2060 super, and i do not face any stutter in games and it delivers good power to my pc built, and also some of my geeks friends who are interested in gaming pc suggest me to go with corsair brand in terms of power supply. It is ProtectIng my Desktop PC: Before it purchased, Below Rs. 1500/- worth 450 watts SMPS I was used in my Desktop PC, When AC power fails, these SMPS could not boot with in Milli Seconds DC Power (Which is UPS or Inver Power), this leads PC shutdown and restart, due to this result: 1. Some times OS currupted, reinstll OS and Upto not auto-save work loss. 2. Some times SMPS Fails, I replaced nearly 7 SMPS for my 3 Desktop PCs when SMPS fails. I fed up. I analysed failure causes: My Desktop PC have Graphic Card, I am doing Auto Cad Drawing works. These Cheep SMPS Could not supply required rating power to the components of Desktop PC. Lot of search in Internet, calculate wattage power required, what is excess wattage to stable and future upgrade or add in components. I Decided, Purchased this American Brand CORSAIR SV 550 in my Budget Rs.3,599, and install in my Desktop PC. Now it working well, No OS corruption, No SMPS burnt. With my more than 2 years experience: I fully satisfied (100 %) and re command to every. Thanks to CORSAIR INDIA AND AMAZON INDIA.

Product for gaming is good but there is one problem heating issue on 24 pin power cable and it get melt due to this my warranty avoid but product working If you want to buy for heavy gaming its not for you then you have to buy modular psu or more watt non modular psu give better performance with same company.

used this to upgrade my son’s old HP G2 desktop PC As he wants to add a more powerful GPU. It all went together fairly easily, Had to re-seat the 24 pin plug and the 4 pin CPU plug to get it working. But not the biggest hassle, comes with 8 pin CPU plug but this can be seperated for older 4 pin boards. Just took a minute to ponder when the fans were all spinning up but no boot screen. all sorted anyway and he can select his graphics card. has plenty of sockets for HDD’s SATA and molex as well as 2x GPU power sockets.
