Good 80 Gold Plus PSU. But, the color was not to my taste (does not really matter if you are not in a cut out Shroud), would have preferred black, the color is a cheap paint and with med finish. Lot of cables but, the ESP CPU cables are short for routing even in a MID-Tower Case (this should not stop you from buying this, I used some MOD cables, so less cable management). There are no 4PIN PSU CPU cables (additional pairs) for high end motherboards like Z590 series
However, the PSU is sturdy quite silent and has Hybrid mode for the fans. Fully modular with ample sockets for all the power need for 1000Watt PC. Checked wall AMPS drawn, was as mentioned in the specifications. Durability only time will tell.
Overall I think it is a good value for money quality PSU
Edit: ( June 2023) I am reducing the star because the PSU did not perform to the demand. The PSU actually did not fail but, the voltage regulation went bad in 2 years time, the +12V rail started dropping voltage on load to below even +11.404V (ATX acceptable Variation of 5%). This resulted in my system having BSOD, and it took me more than few weeks to diagnose.
All PSU’s can have some bad lot and we can be the unlucky-ones. Th reason I am reducing the recommendation is because of the After-Sales service of ANTEC, I am still struggling to get an RMA to this down in South. Nobody from Antec will respond to mails or messages, the service centers are different for prior to 2022 manufactured and you will really struggle to get the RMA if you are staying smaller towns or down in South India. However, Amazon can help, and that is how I finally got hold of the service center, I am yet to take it in person (they do not accept Courier) 🙁
