I’m having issues with the USB 3 ports getting phantom button presses and shorts. Going to try to get a more powerfull power supply that might be the issue. Will update when I do.

Board overall is okay, my issues with it is that my ram used to be able to be overclocked to 4000MT/s but after changing to this motherboard I cannot overclock my ram anymore, the max values are the ones in D.O.C.P..
Another issue I have with the board is that the x16 pcie slot is placed 1 slot lower than my old motherboard. The problem with that is that it caused my gpu to have an increase in temperature by about 7-10C.

I was shocked that the network didn’t work under Ubuntu, and Arch. I thought the board is defective. When I finally installed Windows 10, I realized it’s not the board, because a new install of Win10 works fine. Then I found the linux driver for the 2.5Gb (r8125-9.005.06) on a Realtek site; uncompressed it, executed the command as it states in the uncompressed README, and instant success.
Also, after a week, I realized my Ryzen stock cooler was not enough, so I pulled it up, and the whole CPU came out of the board despite being locked down !!! I was shocked, figuring I wrecked the CPU, and/or the socket. Surprisingly, the thing still works, and after unlatching the CPU lever, the CPU just fell in like normal, nothing bent or damaged, it seems.
I now see that there’s a FAQ at the Asus site, and the first FAQ item: “How to remove AMD CPU Fan Cooler and CPU”; it says: “Lightly twist the CPU cooler clockwise and counter-clockwise to loosen the seal between the heatsink and the lid of the CPU”

Excellente carte très facile à installer, conçue pour la famille Ryzen 5. Supporte AURA, RGB, overclocking etc etc etc. Je la recommande!

Good board, much heavier than I thought it would be (the VRM heatsinks are beefy).
Gave me some issues, I had to flash the board to a new bios to support my Ryzen 5000 series.
Followed the steps on the website on how to do a bios flashback using the usb and the little recessed button at the back. It didn’t like my first usb drive, but the second one I tried worked. Took about 5 minutes and then booted up fine.
