Was looking to upgrade the RAM on my Dell XPS 8930 from 16 to 32MB. Dell was selling single 8GB RAM modules on their website for $100 each and 16GB sticks for $200.
Based on all the technical specs these would be perfectly compatible with my model (2666 MHz @ 1.2V) but of course on the Dell website nothing but warnings about buying anything but Dell branded RAM. All scare tactics.
Two 16GB sticks for just over $100 vs spending $200 for a single stick from Dell. Easy install. No issues.

Runs at only 2100mhz. Only when overclocked is it 3200mhz and you cant over clock it with all systems. My system and BIOS has XMP Profiles 1 and 2…..yet none is able to get this to run at 3200mhz.

I bought the pack to upgrade my 2X8GB Hyperx CL17 3600Mhz, But there was an issue with one of the RAM as it won’t let me boot if i had all 4 sticks inserted, tried multiple things and eventually gave up and amazon about the issue, they send me a replacement and it worked perfectly in sync with my Hyperx Ram sticks, setting up xmp and all was easy as it ironically shared the same specs as the Hyperx Ones so it does seems like just a rebranded pack from Kingston after they sold the Hyperx Brand to HP, so far no issues from my end but make sure to check your Motherboard QVL list before ordering any crucial hardware.

I purchased 2 of these, now I can see drastic improvement in my 1 percent lows. R5 5600 , RX 6700 XT, Gigabyte B450M Gaming, 1440p Gaming. Previously I had 2400Mhz 16GB Ram, My PC struggles to achieve 70 fps with above configuration with frequent dips in 1 percent low to 28 fps or less, so I tried to keep GPU limited and set 60 fps limiter. After upgrading, now I can get even 90 fps with 1 percent low no less than 65. Also, nowadays more AAA games started using more than 16GB rams, like Hogwarts legacy, Resident Evil and Last of us part 1.

I have always used Kingston RAM products since DDR1 & this HyperX Kingston RAM works just fine specially in heavy tasks, Gaming & Streaming. You don’t need fly high 4000 or 4200 Mhz even if you are hardcore gamer. Just enable XMP with manual setting 3200mhz speed in BIOS and you are all set.
I have all 4 RAMs (32GB) of Kingston HyperX and this HyperX Beast mixed together and they both are compatible as they are same brand & same clock. I bought single stick x2 because of Single bank which is faster than Dual banks RAM. All of my 4 sticks are Single Bank but runs in DUAL Channel mode seamlessly. Prices have been dropped so i would prefer buy it.
