The Good Doctor –
I really love what ADATA has done for RGB SSDs. The XPG Spectrix S40G is the first RGB SSD i’ve seen that i would consider using in my own PC. Everything about what the drive brings to the table visually is absolutely stunning. No wired connections, no hoops to jump through, fully customizable, excellent software, all wrapped up in a nifty M.2 x 2280 package.
Looking back at the performance the drive delivers in my daily use-state scenarios, i can see that the S40G is not a performance powerhouse. I’m fine with that, because the performance it does deliver is more than enough to satisfy a majority of users. What the XPG Spectrix S40G lacks in performance, is in my opinion more than offset by what it does visually. I believe the Spectrix S40G is an excellent upgrade for the outdated SATA SSD and do not hesitate to recommend it to you all as such.

De momento llevo utilizándolo 6 meses y todo a salido perfecto, la velocidad es muy buena tanto la de escritura como de lectura, el rgb es muy bonito aunque en mi caso no se ve ya que puede alcanzar unas temperaturas altas así que tuve que poner un disipador mas grande y en un lugar mas ventilado. El envió por parte de amazon excelente como siempre.

I’m writing this because this was something that I faced and must not happen with any of you guys;
I bought this for gaming PC and it was above expectations It works as mentioned but…….It goes really hot even in best airflow conditions,The things happen then are if you leave your PC idle for about 12-13 hrs it would auto shut down to prevent any further damage but this happens at no load at all,imagine if you do same at max loads it won’t last long,this is powerful but cooling isn’t sufficient on built-in heat sink,So buy it and test it completely only then keep it otherwise return it,I shared this because I observed this issue and hope that would keep this factor in mind.

Firstly check if your motherboard supports this option (only newer motherboards support this). If yes, it is a good buy. These SSDs tend to run hot. Fortunately this model has a heat sink; the icing on the cake is that it also has RGB lighting effects – makes is look good if you have a windowed case. Performance wise it is good, giving expected write and read speeds. The cost is also quite reasonable considering the capacity and features. I recommend this SSD, if you want high speeds with RGB bling.

Super schnelle M2SSD mit RGB das einzigste was negativ ist das ist aufgrund der RGB Beleuchtung die Höhe dadurch kann es bei manchen Mainboards sein das der extra Kühlkörper nicht montiert werden kann so wie bei mir habe ein Gigabyte Aorus M B450 .

Just awesome product from XPG. Best SSD in its class and most value for money and most beautiful product. Super fast ssd, getting w/r speed nearly 3300mbps+/2100mbps+ (from my old SSD getting w/r speed nearly 210mbps+/200mbps+) as per CrystalDiskMark. Now my pc’s start-up time is not more than 20 seconds and shutdown time is near about 10 seconds. Actually I can feel the speed of my pc now. RGB lights are working perfectly and looks amazing and customisable by XPG RGB software. Worth every penny you spend. Surely you will fall in love with it’s super fast performance and glowing RGB light. Just go for it without any hesitation.

Ürünün tek eksisi sıcaklık değerleri. Üzerinde soğutma plakası olan diğer 1TB Samsung 970 Evo SSD 30 derecede çalışırken bu SSD 40 derecede çalışıyor. Bu bir sorun teşkil etmiyor tabi, her iki sıcaklıkta kabul edilebilir ancak belirtmek istedim. Bu sıcaklık farkının sebebi ise, soğutma plakası yerine RGB aydınlatmaya sahip olması.
Genel olarak hem satıcıdan hem de üründen memnun kaldım, tavsiye ederim.
