Was using a PCIe 3 drive and was performing well, as my system supported it wanted to check out the PCIe4 and it’s blazing fast, while the gains in gaming is not really noticeable, the boot time gets reduced by a few seconds if that matters. The read and write speeds are next level.

Works like a charm on ps5. Read speed around 6300 mbps Jonsbo heatsink fits well and don’t worry about the thermal pads. Just stick the thick on on the top side of the nvme and the second one on the bottom panel of the heat sink. Slide it properly and fix it. Hardly takes 5 minutes.

I have this SSD installed in my PS5 with a 3rd party heatsink. The SSD works well and I’ve been using it for a few months without any issues. The performance seems at par with the built in SSD of the PS5.

It does what it promises to do.
1. Installation was easy 2. For gaming it is the best choice 3. Provides more value for your money (I believe) than it’s competitor in the same segment (SK Hynix Platinum) 4. Does all kind of transfer faster 5. Noticed a substantial difference in loading times in games. 6. You might want to check if your motherboard supports 4th Gen M.2 NVme drives 7. It needs heatsink if you do intensive work (transferring large sizes of files). Otherwise it’ll throttle and you’ll get lower speeds than what is advertised. 8. My motherboard is high end so there were inbuilt thermal pads (fortunately).
