El producto, hasta el momento, ha superado mis expectativas ya que quema DVD y CD a menor velocidad que otros productos similares, y han quedado bien grabados. Pero apenas he quemado un CD y 2 DVD’s.

This PLEXTOR DRIVE lives up to the PLEXTOR name that I am familiar with from buying a lot of their AMAZING, LONG LASTING and very reliable products back in England UK. I recommend anything and everything by this brand, they are one of the few “long term” brands that never went downhill.
This DVDRW drive is burning my DVD (standard, not duel layer, have not tried duel layer yet) without any issues .. i am using SONY DVDs and they were failing on my external pioneer bd-xl to record properly …. however pioneer tend to work great when directly inside a machine .. I found most optical drives are useless when relying on any USB connection.
So plextor DVD drive is fast, quiet, works great, reads everything I put in to it and records to anything I have tried including VERBATIM DVD+R which is usually the only brand of disk I would purchase, but I ran out of them during my 5 years backup of LIFE WORK ( music, video I make – soon to release an album mid 2023 ) and tons of other things I backup that i invent and create …… I had some SONY DVD-r left over so I finished using them.
windows 10 gives me the options to BURN UP TO 16x SPEED but I always use 4x… I find then that the disks can be read on older machines without issues …. and on all of my devices… not just laptops and desktop computers.

Ce graveur/lecteur CD remplit parfaitement sa fonction. Il me paraît très qualitatif et je n’ai rien à redire. Je vous avoue que je l’ai acheté afin de pouvoir m’en servir “au cas où” plutôt qu’avec une idée précise en tête. Je n’ai donc pas de retour à faire sur les vitesses d’écriture. Cependant, l’installation a été assez facile dans la tour de mon PC de bureau. (c’était la première fois que je le faisais, mais globalement, rien de compliqué : un cable pour l’alimenter et un câble pour le transfert des données, qui ne sont pas fournis avec, entre parenthèses, mais généralement il vous en restera qui étaient fournis avec la carte-mère, on emboîte le lecteur graveur, on branche le tout et c’est fait ! )
