I installed this on my Lenovo IdeaPad gaming 3 laptop. And I installed multiple games like cyberpunk, rdr 2 and wwe 2k22 . It works buttery smooth. And the read and write speeds are very good. A very good buy

I bought this to boost my 6 year old Dell Latitude E5490 Laptop performance.
I used this m.2 in Wwan slot and made my existing HDD as secondary boot.
Previously it used to complete the boot in 3 to 4 mins, but now it takes only 15 to 20 seconds.
However, though it claims to have 6Gbps speed, it is around 3 to 4Gbps.
Really happy with the performance now.

I installed this drive, and not to long after the drive started erroring out. I bought a used liteon drive from amazon to replace this brand new one, and have had no issues since.

This is the only 2242 m.2 gen 4 drive i could find on amazon in the budget range. I installed it in my vacant m.2 gen 4 2242 slot in my lenovo ideapad gaming 3 ryzen 7 version with 3050.
The speeds are great on par with the intel drive (2280) that came with my laptop. CrystalDiskMark scores are attached in the pictures.
Do no buy the SATA version if you are going to use it in your m.2 gen 4 slot, the price difference is way too low compared to the read/write speeds difference you will get. If you are going to use in in wan slot or in any sata slot then maybe. But then also i would suggest to get the m.2 version, that will ensure you can get higher speeds if in future you put it in a m.2 slot.

It is expensive for a sata ssd, but I don’t buy ssds that don’t have a dram cache. Otherwise it works satisfactory.

When an old IDE HD started to « whine » in a Dell Inspiron 5100 series, I replaced the IDE HD by the mSATA I cloned with. The data transfer is quick as well as page shifting on win XP.
