This review is for the ASUS Hyper M.2 X16 PCIe 3.0 X4 Expansion Card .
It works fine on my AMD X399-A motherboard, latest bios running Linux.
You have to change the default link parameters in bios to partition the pcie link into 4 separate channels.
Once done and the card installed you will get a /dev/nvme… entry for each nvme device you install.
If you are going to install on a different AMD check that the bios supports it.
One nice thing is that it has a big heat sink to dissipate the heat.

This is grossly overpriced , should be around 7.5k , why is asus is not looking at people scalping this item considering it’s not even tat scarce .

You’ll need to enable the x4x4x4x4 bifurcation in your BIOS settings. Then it works like a charm. I’m able to get 10GB/s sequential read. Given that PCI-e 3.0 drives are still a lot cheaper than PCI-e 4.0, this looks like a good deal to me.

This product not working, only one slot working and no local servicing and no responses service centers and no response resellers in india . It is bad bad waste of money.

You must configure Bios for your PC to recognise how many cards are mounted in it
Look for references to channels or 4x4x4x4 in the PCie section of Bios if you aren’t seeing all the cards
