I was able to use this card with Sentinel and HASP4 parallel port security dongles to get some old software working.
One caveat: the ability to remap to legacy memory addresses on these ports is restricted to DOS. The included software will not even recognize that the card is installed from a Windows command prompt window. Fortunately, the Sentinel and HASP command line utilities allows the lpt port address setting to be changed from the old 378 and 278 to the higher addresses Windows assigns to PCI devices.

It was detected by Linuxcnc automatically. It turned out that I don’t need this board, but I am keeping it for future project.

As it is recommended around the forums, this chipset works fine with LinuxCNC. Although it is a 3.3V logical level voltage.

Great! It works and great price.

This is not a valid parallel port. It requires special Windows drivers, which are useless on Linux. I need a proper hardware port. That should be made clear in the description.
