I have a 5 yr old 1080ti, never opened it and it always ran under 75c.
Then I decided I’d clean it and put some new paste + thermal pads just for the sake of it and even though it had a slim (1.0mm) white thermal pad which was worn out on many places, it still worked fine.
Then I ordered, 1 of these 1.5mm ones since people had good experiences cooling even 3080FE and boy was I dumbfounded when I applied it. The 1000 series doesn’t have memory temperature sensors, or at-least mine doesn’t but they are running super hot, probably 80c on idle. Can’t even game without GPU overheating and crashing the pc. Temps are reported 60c on idle and that is in ambient room temperature of 20c, in games they quickly rise to 85c. I triple checked the application and even put in more thermal paste the main gpu die, the same paste on the CPU reduced temps by 15c after a decent OC. I ran the GPU to its limit then checked for temperature and it looks like the MOSFETs are the hottest, which I wasn’t able to envelop completely with the thermal pad.
I wouldn’t say this doesn’t work, it does but 1.5mm and only 1 of these is a bad idea. Always order 2 and more thickness (+ a little more price, for me it was 2x) is a lot better than a dead GPU.

Stellar product, not so stellar price. These pads are unbelievably effective, vastly more so than the pads I had previously thought to be the best I had ever seen. They have been able to firmly tame the raging inferno that is my RTX 3090’s GDDR6X, and that is no small feat. On the other hand, you need two $12 sheets to repad one 3090, whereas $24 of other reasonably high quality pads will easily get you 2-3x the area coverage of these. If you need them (see, RTX 3090, RTX 3080), they’re brilliant. Otherwise, likely not worth the price unless they’re on sale, or you’re a performance fiend.

It has high thermal connectivity. If you want the best it’s either this or the thermal grizzly one.Its So good that my core temp went up ,I guess more heat is going to the cold plate,it was 87 before now it’s 66 to 70 range while gaming, I have 5700xt red devil.

I would recommend every grapics card users to change their pads. I used Gelid ultimate and extreme both are good. And value for money. My card gone to 110 memory temps. Now after change, it dropped to 84 at extreme load. I changed for MSI Ventus 3080. The size of the pads is very less you can only change the pad for memory chips.

I used it in my PS4 alongwith PCM on the die. Works great no issues or loud fan. Please use sharp blade to cut the pad as it is very delicate. I used standard Razer blade.

I’ve bought a bunch of these thermal pads in the last few months because they were recommended to me and I have to say that they are great. I use them for replacing thermal pads from graphics cards.
They are quality products, easy to use and work as advertised, great temperatures and never had a single issue with them. Of course the sheets are a little small but thermal pads are expensive in general and if you cheap out on some lower quality ones, you get lower quality results.
They are not the abosolute best thermal pads on the market, but they are definitively the most accessible ones for general purpose. My go to thermal pads, definitively worth the price.

Tengo poco de usar almohadillas térmicas, pero definitivamente está es diferente a las otras que he usado.
Mientras las almohadillas térmicas con propiedades de 3K/mK se perciben como micas plásticas de consistencia resistente, este producto es diferente.
Es necesario que se tenga cuidado al manejar/manipular, yo recomiendo que corten las piezas que van a usar, luego retiren uno de los protectores plásticos de un lado y lo coloquen en el área donde se requiera, después retirar el del otro lado antes de colocar el disipador, esto pues el producto básicamente es masilla muy suave.
Si la quieres usar para un Xbox OneX los 2mm quedan justos, pero si puedes compra el de 3mm el cual si es mucho pero por su consistencia muy suave se ajustará como la masilla que viene de fabrica, una sola lámina alcanza para las memorias y el chipset muy pero muy justo, así que necesitas hacer cortes muy precisos y/o que el umbral de error sea negativo (osea que quede más chico) para que alcance porque si es pequeña la lámina pero si alcanza.
No tengo herramientas para confirmar la transferencia de calor pero puedo asegurar que con las pruebas usándo este producto si se percibe que el calor es transferido exitosamente.
Si, es caro si lo comparan con otras marcas con menor transferencia (según sus especificaciones) pero creo que notarán la calidad diferente.

This is an excellent product and does what it says. I am running my raspberry pi 3b in the armor case. With stock thermal pads, my pi overheated in around 20 seconds while running the cpuburn test (temp > 85 degrees). Switched to Gelid pads and ran the test continuously for 40 minutes and the max temperature my pi reached was 65 degrees!
I bought all the three variants, i.e., 1.5 mm, 2 mm and 3 mm for my future needs, though for raspberry pi 3b with armor case, 1.5 mm and 2 mm are sufficient. It is helpful to sand the thermal contact points of the armor case to remove the black paint it comes with.
This pad is better than some of the commonly available thermal pastes, so go for it with eyes closed.
