I have 2 NVME drives installed in the system and KC3000 1tb (OS drive) & WD SN735 1tb. The WD runs really hot and surprisingly the KC3000 stays much cooler.
On a hot summer day when the ambient temp is around 31’c the KC3000 used to hover at 51-53’c & SN735 used to be around 64-66’c which was concerning for me regarding its longevity.
I applied the thermal pads (2mm) on both the drives and removed the existing one and the temp has come down significantly for both the drives.
Now the KC3000 hovers around 41-44’c and the SN735 around 52-55’c on a daily moderate workload.
If I am in an AC room both the drives get 3-5’c cooler gives me a huge peace of mind.

Going above 40°c ssd and optane memory and i put thermal pads above and below on my intel ssd both temperatures are below 40°c and same temperatures reporting before that 10°c temperatures difference

This is the best product. But the price is a bit high. The GPU temperature was 80 to 85.C before this thermal pad was applied. After applied this thermal pad in the GPU I got to see the GPU temperature drop from 20 to 15.C. Right now the high temperature of GPU remains between 65 to 70.C. I am very happy with this product.

The thermal pads are very effective and work well, I have used them in my laptop which has an nvme drive which heated upto 90 degrees, but after I applied 2 layers of thermal pads so that they got in contact with the body, the temperatures dropped to 50, I am very happy and I think you should buy this if your drives or gpus(vram) are overheating.

Solucion para la temperatura de algunas RTX3080 a la hora de minar, mucho mejores que las que vienen en Gigabyte de fabrica y ademas podemos colocarlas en la parte del blackplate para bajar las temperaturas de las memorias a 94ºC y minar a 100 MH con una 3080 sin problemas

– Se pueden unir varios para hacer mayor grosor sin perder mucha conductividad
– Fáciles de trabajar con ellas
– No sueltan ese aceitillo que hacen algunos Thermal al coger temperatura y perder conductividad termica

Primarily purchased this for my (Alienware 17 R4 laptop) NVME M.2 Toshiba SSD (:E/) which was running very hot (> 60 deg C) during idle and during gaming and testing the temps would get crazy (> 75 deg C) which according to me is unacceptable. The temps during idle was baffling as this drive is just storage and not used for the OS. At times the 70 plus Toshiba drive was running even hotter than my GTX 1070M LOLZ!!!!
I have been using these for over a month now and I am impressed. I had to stack 3 of the pads together to reach the chassi, but it does the job. As can be seen from the attached pics, there is about a 10 – 15 deg temp drop after application on my Toshiba 512gb NVME SSD I was So impressed that I applied the same to my Samsung 960 Pro 256 gb (:C/ :D/) and got around 10 deg C drop in temps. This much drop in temps is crazy for a thermal pad and I was not expecting such good results. Its safe to say that the pads will surely extend the life of both SSD’s by a fair amount. I would say go for it and beat the heat!!!
Note : the thermal exchange is better if the underside of the chassi is metal and would reduces if its plastic.
