Great step up from Noctua with a 120mm single-tower cooler.
The extra heatpipes and added thickness to it’s predecessors makes it able to handle the latest processors with ease. I ended up installing it on a slightly older Ryzen 7 2700X and it kept the load temperatures around 60°C during a Prime95 small-FFT run.
I did have some issues with RAM clearance – I unfortunately wasn’t able to utilise both fans on the cooler. I mainly blame this on modern DIMMs which are excessively high. As a result, I re-purposed the second fan as a case exhaust fan, so it’s thankfully not wasted. That being important given my only other gripe – the rather steep price tag for this cooler.
All in all – it’s the performance that makes this a winner.

Came from Liquid coolers, Corsair/Kraken, I find this Air cooler from Noctua outperforms most AIO Liquid coolers out there. As long as this fits in your case, do not consider any other coolers. This cooler is so much better for less noise, no cable hassles and no liquid leak concerns you all might have. Yes, for some people this colour set might look ugly but when you check the CPU temperature after installing this, YEAH.
I fully recommend this product for those also cares about RGB RAMs. (Noctua D15 covers up your RGB lights)

I don’t like Air coolers because of the bulky size and sharp edges. I have an NZXT x53 but it will fail because of the pump. After receiving Noctua my whole idea about the air cooler has changed.

My current air cooler is a Scythe Fuma1, which is working very well with a 3 fan config; temps are close to those reported by the Noctua D-15; the D-15 requires a really big case. I bought this purely as a standby, and because there was a very good price drop (Rs. 15000/= to Rs 9000/=). Being a Noctua, it has class. The finish is in a different league as compared to the Scythe Fuma; the Noctua has its fins soldered to the heat pipes, the Scythe does not have this feature (this translates to better cooling). I did a trial run with this cooler. Firstly, the installation was significantly easier than the Fuma. During Cinebench23, the Noctua gave the same temps as the Fuma (Fuma 3 fans vs Noctua 2 fans). After testing, I changed back to the Fuma; since I am using RGB fans, the Fuma looks a lot better. The Noctua, is a great buy for the price; I am keeping it as a standby.

Its a very good Air cooler, even under intense load its temp doesnt exceed 75 degrees. Most of all its not bulky and it does its job really well. if you are looking for a air cooler i would recommend you to get this. its a bit pricey compared to others but the fans are so quite u will not even know its running so quite.
