Beautiful work of art, but had quite a few small paint defects, none worth RMAing for, but at this price I expected better craftsmanship. For instance there are minor blemishes in the paint, including a 1.5” hairline crack in the paint in the top panel, and several 1/8” chips in various locations. Also, includes no fans or controllers, so overall it’s a pricey investment.

Rejoice for the modders, custom build makers. This open a whole lot of options for the custom makers. Beautiful to look at and easy to work with.

Great design. It is huge, it is expensive, and it has a major flaw that Antec could fix with a tiny amount of work.

Design: The aesthetics are unmatchable. Just a really cool look that is clearly “different” than what people are used to. Beyond aesthetics, the design is just really well executed and there isn’t a single flimsy piece of metal or plastic anywhere to be found. Its built like a tank and it looks like it could survive a fall from an airplane in flight.

Huge: It’s very big. I’ve built around 40 PCs over the past 15 years, and none have been even close to the size of this beast. It’s just really, really big and you won’t really get a real understanding of its size until you try to find a place to set it up that doesn’t hide it under a desk or table.

Expensive: No real explanation needed here. This replaced a PC I built for myself 9 years ago. I spent more on all the components that I was used to, but figured if I could get 10 years out of the rig, it would be worth the price. Very happy I spent the money.

MAJOR FLAW: Instructions are minimal, and there is NO mention of the need to install the glass BEFORE installing the motherboard. I think virtually everyone would hold off on installing the glass after the build is complete, and that’s because it is how it has been done with every other case in the history of PC building. One of the posts needed to mount the glass cannot be installed with the motherboard installed, so if you screw up like I did you can either jimmy the glass in place (which I did) or you can disassemble your entire rig, remove the motherboard, install the post, and then rebuild everything (which I was not going to do). All Antec needs to do to fix this is include a sheet of paper explaining the post install, they could write it in crayon or in their own poop, just include it to prevent the frustration that many people are encountering.

I purchased this case during the pandemic from Amazon, I should have been more suspicious that someone bought and returned it, I could have looked closer, but it sat in the box for a while while I was waiting to get all the components.

Fast forward to finally being able to get a video card, I was putting the system together. Someone had taken some of the hardware out when they returned it and it got shipped to me. I contacted Antec and at first their support was nice, said it was no problem to get the parts I needed shipped to me complimentary. I thought they were so nice and helpful, was ready to rave about their great customer service to everyone.

Everything was good until I uploaded my receipt to the email thread showing it had been just over a year from time of purchase. Then the tone shifted. They said they could not provide the parts. I didn’t care if I had to pay for them or not, I just needed the parts. They said they did not sell them. They obviously have them available to ship since they were just about to do so, but now would not.

So I went from being able to get a few little parts shipped to me to there is no way the company can provide them.

Usually if a company is still producing a product it’s not an issue to get a few parts, and this very long email thread where they won’t help me has completely soured me on Antec and I will tell everyone I know to stay far away.

Full disclosure, this was my first Antec case after having 3 previous ones from Thermaltake. I liked the build quality of this one, but the customer service is severely lacking.
