Arrived a week early! Very good start. Ample space for atx board, easy cable through and management. Bought this for 2 reasons. 1. Wanted a more quiet case than my previous deepcool one as nas is on 24/7 but still wanted good airflow with fans as the 11th gen runs warm and 128gb ram I like to keep cool. Case is very quiet when fans set to low. When set to high you can here fans but no where near as much as previous case or my gaming pc. 2. Needed additional hdd bays to expand my storage and create another vdev. Had 3x 8tb drives, wanted to add 5 more. Use this nas mainly for my own Plex library of my Blu-ray’s in original quality. This case will allow me to expand my storage easily. Hdd trays are very easy to install and good clearance for data and power connections. I wouldnt use 90deg Sata cables though, but work easy with straight ones. Good clearance height under case for power supply fan even if on carpet, but I have the case on a custom cut toughened glass panel anyway as that’s how I like my cases when on carpet. It is a big case but that’s what I wanted and I would highly recommend this case. If you are a wanting a gaming case with heaps of airflow due to Graphics card I would not go with this case. Much better mesh/airflow cases out there. I wouldn’t use this case as my daily gaming pc, but it’s perfect for a pc that’s needs lots of storage drives or in my case a home nas media system.

Fans are all silent. Quite a lot of space inside to work with. It fits my noctua 160+ cm heat sink for the processor comfortably. Cable management panel could have had bigger holes. I especially like the fan controls and usb slots on top. Side panels are easy to remove and put back by hand. Includes screws for hard drive bays and pcie slot cards. It is a bit on the heavier side. So if you’re going to keep moving it you might want to think twice. Solid build overall.

I was in search for a cabinet which has 2 usb 3.0 port along with 2 usb 3.0 ports, an optical drive, fan controls, extra front cover which will be easily openable, without glass window, 3 or more hdd and 2 or more ssd mounting options. No cabinet could fullfill my choice except this one. Though it is an old design cabinet but thankfully fullfill my requirement. Now about the cabinet : 1. Very silent 2. Very heavy and sturdy build 3. Lots of space inside the cabinet 4. Well wire management design 5. Large sized graphics card can be fitted
Those who want classic design high quality cabinet with no compromise on different options without glass window this will be the ultimate choice for them.

Habe dieses Gehäuse aufgrund der Kühlung (Für Platten), den Geräuscharmen Betrieb und nicht zuletzt wegen der Anzahl an möglichen Festplatten für mein Eigenbau-NAS gekauft. Den Preis finde ich voll okay, man bekommt viel Platz, recht schönes Management (auch wenn es besser sein könnte) und ansonsten alles wie beschrieben bzw abgebildet. Bin jetzt aktuell bei 7 HDDs im Einsatz, also noch genug Luft für weitere HDD Upgrades. Der Ein/Aus Schalter ist sehr angenehm zu bedienen und muss nicht tief rein gedrückt werden. Die Platten sind auch spürbar kühler als im Vorgänger Gehäuse, bin begeistert! Preis/Leistung echt nice.

The case received was indeed the original ANTEC P101.
Product:
The product is great, have no bells and whistles, but can be scaled up as a server. Enough HDD bays, cable management, fan connectors (with Molex power connector!!) 3 x 120 mm, and 1 x 140 mm fans came with the box, with all necessary screws and fittings. All panels are lined with sound-deadening liners. The front panel is hinged and have a magnet as a latch. Front and bottom panels have dust filters. All good. No RGB Circus though.
The Service: (Pathetic)
There were few transit damages as can be seen in the pictures. 5.25″ bay was loose inside, luckily that did not damage anything inside. Stand-offs missing. The top panel had a dent. The rear top-left corner was dented and crushed – see the pic. I was unable to open the side panel because of this damage. The Thumb Screw was also bent, unable to remove with “Thumb”. Minor(?) re-work is done and the product is accepted, after cutting my finger in this process.
Hence only 1 star. If there was a provision to give no Stars, this service really deserved that.

The P101 silent is a very good case for those wishing for 4+ 3.5 HDD storage. This case has 8 3.5″ bays installed and there is a single 5.25 bay as well. Plus two more mounting brackets for 2.5″ SSD. Comes with four fans (3 intake and 1 exhaust). Insulation foam is on the side panels and the non removable top panel in the case.
However, I recieved a damaged product beyond acceptable levels. It doesn’t look it was damaged during transit since the outer package was completely intact.
I’ll edit the review once I get a satisfactory replacement.
Update : (review changed from 1 star to 5 star)
Recieved a replacement after a week which is pristine and has no defects or damage.
I had requested the return immediately when the previous case was found damaged upon opening.

The middle fan is not working. The product is not returnable. The support email is bouncing. (support@antec.com) The provided support phone number 800-222-8632 is going to a wrong number. Finally somebody from support asked me to go to RPI tech in SP road. I had to carry the box myself. The technicians there were very rude. after 2 hours wait. He told me fan is not working (which I already knew) he would try to reorder a new fan and I will have to visit again. The front door is magnetically closes. It si not a strong magnet. It keeps opening.

I was looking for a case with a reasonable size and support for 8 HDDs. I chose Antec. Unfortunately, it is not possible to connect the HDD using an L-cable. Neither SATA nor power supply. The metal part of the case prevents it – the cable does not reach the connector. Only direct connectors can be connected (there is a risk of pinching from the side) Or use atypical connectors with the cable up. No Antec support. I will sell the case, I will buy another one from another manufacturer.

Best PC case for workstation!! I think this is my best budget PC case till date. I am not a gamer and I use my computer for heavy 3d work. This case has addressed all the issues I had with my old case. Can be switched between silent and heavy air flow. Front door opens sideways to allow even more air flow during long renders. Built like a tank. And plenty of hard drive bays to store my files and thier backups. No complaints whatsoever.
